I've noticed that as you get older/age, some certain holidays are no longer fun like Easter. I would also say Halloween, but you can always go to the clubs and dress up, and get drunk.

So is there a holiday that you dread?

I kinda find Easter dull, its only fun when you have kids. But I would admit it, as much as I love xmas, I kinda dread it. Because I have 11 siblings and 23 nephews and nieces. And when you get older, your presents decrease. AND!!! With the recession....... tears.gif

Yeah, I'm kind of dreading Christmas this year. I mean, my family doesn't even celebrate it that much (no Christmas decorations, no tree, no stockings, mediocre presents at best) and it'll probably be even worse. I'm still in college so I'm at that transition stage where my parents are demanding presents from me instead of the other way around... sleep.gif Oh, I hate my birthday now too because my mum tells me I should get her a present to thank her for giving birth to me... It's not untrue, it's just hard to adjust to ._.

I always dread Valentine's Day...
I'd always be the ones gushing over people's roses and stuff =(

Except my last year in high school many years ago
This one guy taped a rose on my locker with a note the day after Valentine's Day saying he forgot to bring it the day before, so it felt kinda funny carrying it home that day, lol.

Wow, 11 siblings and 23 nephews+nieces!! I have to admit, I like big families. smile.gif But, yeah, it's a real drain on the wallet when it comes to Christmas. Maybe there is some recession friendly gift one can give this year? Like, homemade cookies, lol. wink.gif

From my most recent experience, I'll be dreading Thanksgivings for awhile. This year, I'm dreading Christmas, New Years, and Valentines Day. sad.gif

^ Now you've got us all interested on what that most recent experience may be? From the list of holidays... I can only guess. sad.gif

I always dread every holiday because it only reminds me how lonely I am.
It's just the radio.

None really bug me, if people find an excuse to be especially happy and do kind things then I'm all for it. Personally they're just another day to me... and a good day to stay hidden because people go CRAZY on holidays.

I've never liked Christmas even as a kid. I don't remember holidays that often, so I tend to go about my normal routine.

for me, I really dislike New Years, a five minute celebration and the day itself always seems so prolonged. Easter and Valentines are in the same boat, so commercialized that it's annoying.

I still get excited about Chrismas though. I've been singing xmas carols since september. happy.gif

I dread Thanksgiving. I don't know where my turkey is coming from.

Oh, and I hate Valentine's Day too.

I don't really dread holidays. I look forward to them because holidays = FOOD!!
And my family isn't big on giving gifts so I usually don't need to spend money on holidays haha

I only DREAD the crowds out doing Christmas shopping. Stupid crowds....

I don't dread any holidays, except perhaps when other countries holidays are on, and its a normal working day for you in your country, and you're trying to get into contact with people from that country!! xD

I always dread the Christmas season in general because it never goes over well when I go out to the clubs wearing my mistletoe belt buckle.

I usually dread Thanksgiving too because the lines to get into a Denny's almost always tend to be long.

OMG! I so understand you girl! Must be a Hmong thing. LOL! I spend the most during Xmas for presents and so forth and for shipping them all out too. UGH! I think of it this way -- only once a year. LOL! smile.gif

aww, i know what u mean.

well i like holidays since winter break and no work is always nice tongue.gif
but i dread food shopping during THANKSGIVING & CHRISTMAS.
i find that ppl are just so unpleasant...and sooo un-jolly!
maybe because most of them don't know how to cook?
or they're lost in the baking aisle???
ppl bump and shove each other's cart like animals without language
don't really know but my experience during those times are usually awful

omg,
and valentines..how did i forget valentines?
its so bogus?
i think it was made-up to promote chocolate and flowers

I would never let a woman kick my ass. If she tried something, I'd be like, HEY! You get your b*tch ass back in the kitchen and make me some pie!
