I have yet to see ONE korean celeb with anything less of perfect skin. Is it makeup? If so, does that mean even the male celebs are wearing makeup? Whats their secret?

That's why they lose weight in short periods of time
Because they can afford expensive gym membership things in Korea
They can afford personal trainers..
They can afford for the face to be taken care of~
I guess, they have to, it's like their job?

Well, for example big bang. In their docu befoe they got famous, all of them still had clear skin....

not every korean celebrity has perfect skin. super junior s kyuhyun has very bad acne but he has a ton of makeup on when he performs to hide it. tiffany from snsd has bad acne too but she also uses alot of makeup. seohyun has acne sometimes too. if you look for hq pictures of them, you ll see them. promotional pictures are all airbrushed and cameras arent effective in showing the spots either. sohee has acne but you would never know because her makeup artist is so good at covering it up. i know the ones i ve listed are teens but thats usually who has acne. the celebs also can afford the best skin care for scar treatments so even though they have acne, they can get rid of acne scars like nothing and theres also bb cream to help them mask the acne. when it all comes down to it, alot of have good genes and most of them have money.

If you see a lot of singers under the lights during concerts or performances, oftentimes you can see their acne under their makeup.
Plus photoshop does wonders during photoshoots.

Like what most people here have said, Photoshop and editing are all done before the image finally gets put out. And before that, the celebs are most likely already wearing stuff on their face to hide their imperfections - guys included.

And it's not just Korean celebs, it's celebs anywhere. That's why they always look good! Don't worry, remember, what you see isn't always real Just make sure you eat right, exercise, and keep your body clean and healthy

That doesn't mean the only way to get clear skin is through make-up.
That's just a band-aid solution for all your problems. A potentially expensive band-aid.

Most celebrities will only be famous through their 20s and early 30s. They could abuse their skin all they want by using too much makeup, overlapping skin care routines, getting surgeries and injection... because nobody cares what they look like when they're old! If you want to look camera ready every day, I guess you could try what they do, but it's not worth it. You hide your acne today, you create more problems in the future.

Just sit back and enjoy your youth! Every older adult I know would love to have pimples over wrinkles, sagging, loss of elasticity, age spots...

you should watch knowledge sponge, camera/tv and face to face is so different.
they had this episode on skin and stuff, i thought they all had pretty nice skin, everyone had skin like 15+ years beyond their age! except for this ONE woman who was like 30? and had 22 year old skin but she takes real good care of her skin... there was also a segment on how to apply makeup carefully in a special way (duh) ~

they all go to skin care. i go to it also and last year there was this unnie that
was there and she also worked daesung's and
youngbae's face when she was in korea (when they were filiming their doc.)
she said their skin was terrible and that youngbae's got better as time
went by. and daesung's got a little better.
apparently daesung takes pain extremely well. cause they pop everything
on your face and take everything out and it hurts like no other. it took me a year
to get used to the pain and sometimes i still cry my butt off but she said daesung doesn't
move at all. she said it looks like he doesn't feel anything cause he doesn't jerk back
or make any faces. i think that's amazing.

but yeah anyways, the stars usually go to skin care and get their face treated or lasered

Oh, dear. You must have not seen every Korean celeb.
When you are one, you start taking care of yourself more.
They all have lotions and whatnot they start using, haha.
But off screen, without all the make up, they don't have perfect skin. :o

most celebs are picked in the first place because they have perfect skin... but if they dont they probably get it treated before or during their debut onward.
