My mom just bought me a stainless steel thermos since its winter and she thought it would be good way to put some hot cocoa so i can bring it to school. I feel so weird bringin it, cause its so tall. I havent used a thermos since i was like in elementary school? wacko.gif Does anyone, still use them day to day? If so list the brand u use and what kind(plastic, stainless steel etc). IMO whenever i use it, people look @ me weird. Am i too old to use it? Sometimes i see adults use those stainless steel coffee cups. But thats different. so share ur stories!

You can never be too old or too young for a thermos!

A lot of people in my school actually carry around thermoses of tea, hot chocolate, coffee, even soup lol, in the morning.

Hey, it's whatever works right?
How else would you keep your coffee warm and tasty? laugh.gif

Personally, I don't use a thermos because I don't like drinking or eating stuff in the morning.

i live in new york city and i commute to school everyday. i see them EVERYWHERE! its usually the business people who uses them. my mom's coworkers also use the ones not meant for drinks for their lunches to keep it warm. i dont think its weird. its pretty normal for me. if i were a fan of hot drinks i would use one too. it comes in handy to make your own hot drinks instead of going out to buy it. saves alot of money

Hay I do that biggrin.gif because it's getting really cold where I live and I have morning classes so I use my thermos to store coffee/tea/hot chocolate.

Are you in high school? Don't worry about it tongue.gif it makes you look cool, and professional, I think. In college, however, no one cares about you so they won't stare. Also, I have a stainless steel one but I don't know the brand, and it's a little taller than a water bottle.

It's a ridiculous concept to think you're too "old" for a thermos. I mean it's not like your mom got you a plastic thermos with cartoon characters on them.

I mean, I know people in elementary school use them, I know people in college and onward use them. So for some reason, out of potentially 80+ years of lifespan, there's 4-5 years in the middle that you're not supposed to use a thermos for some reason?

You're not too old to use a thermos. o.0 I use one to keep my coffee warm. It's not weird at all, and I'd never look at someone weird no matter how old they were, for using a thermos.
