Well I heard that when a fat person works out, his fats would turn into muscles easily. As long as he really works out regulary.
Well i got a question. I think I was slightly above the average with my weight. Well I'm fat that's my point.
You couldn't really see the tummy when I'm wearing clothes. but that doesn't matter.
Anyway, I wanted to lose some weight.
but I don't wanna turn it into muscles.
I want to actually look more thinner and not buff. Well I wanna look a little bit buff, btu I wanna be thin as well.
So what kind of exercise should I do?
I've been doing push ups and sit ups, but won't that turn it into muscles?
I actually want some muscles as well, but ultimately I want to be skinny. not very skinny... but... yeah normal.
What's a normal weight for someone around 170cm anyway?
I don't know my height, but it was around 170 like 6 months ago I think.
Doubt it's increase now though.
thanks.

Fat Turning Into Muscles

Since your target is to burn fat and not gain muscle, you have to switch up your routine every day. For instance, treadmill every other day and bboying inbetween. Keep your body guessing so it won't get used to the work out. (I.e. run every day and your body will get used to it and won't burn fat)
And for the type of exercise, anything that gets your heart pumping, you sweating and that you actually like it is good. There is no set "best" exercise out there.

Fat never ever turns into muscle. Fat gets burned off. You can gain more muscle
mass from eating/training the right way. You wont get "bulky" unless
you train and eat that way. There's also no such thing as looking
"normal". It's very subjective. If you want to lose weight just fix your diet
and do a lot of cardio until you're satisfied with the way you look in the mirror.

you seem to have a misconception of muscles. muscles does not always mean you look buff. you can have very lean muscles and look slender. its actually better to build up your muscle mass because muscles uses up more calories and thats important to you because you are trying to lose weight.
you need to develop a workout routine. i suggest alternate days of cardio and strength training. cardio burns off the fat while the strength training builds up muscles that further burns off the fat and calories. you also need to refrain from eating high calorie foods. remember to stretch before each workout, that actually helps you look leaner.

Ah i see....
Hm I thought someone said that if you're fat it's easy to turn them into muscles..
Well Anyway, I just went for a run before.
And I do Push ups and sit ups everyday, not sure how many actually. I do a couple of sets of 20 each.
Anyone got a reccomendation of how manys sets I should be doing?
I also do poppin everyday, and to be honest that's the one that makes me sweat the most, but anyways.
So i'm thinking of running on the morning every Monday, Wed, And Fri, leaving the weekend coz I'm quite busy.
And then some push ups and sit ups, then some poppin.. maybe...
so do you guys think that's good enough? coz i don't really have treadmills and stuff, unfortunately =/

you should alternate days you do running and the pushups and situps because you have to let your body recover. you should do as many as you feel comfortable with but do not push yourself too hard. it would do more harm than good. weight loss is a progression so it ll take time. be patient. you do need cardio and strength training. you have those already. you need to fix your eating habits and in conjunction with your workout schedule, you are on your way to weight loss. the weekends can be days off from your workout routine. thats fine. so mon, wed, and fri would be your cardio days and the rest of the weekdays would be your strength training days. i think you should start out with 2-3 sets of the strength training then move on to 4-5. good luck =)

You should try yoga and doing a lot of cardio exercises.
Sit-ups actually make your abdominal muscles grow wider [to the sides].
While they're good at building muscle in that area, they don't work as effectively as running and cardio to remove the fat in that area.
