so for t-day weekend me and a friend went out to california ( soo much fun )

but before i headed out i called an old friend of mine and she introduced me to someone i could hang out with for the weekend.. so i guess you can say it was a blind date? we talked a lot before i came out there so we were kind of interested in each other. so when i finally meet up with her i was kind of surprised... she was bigger than me...( i know i know.. everyones ganna be lik YOUR SHALLOW ) but i thought id give it a shot.. the girl was real nice when we talked over the phone and her personality was nice. so i thought id give it a shot. i mean everyone deserves a chance. but while we were in the car i was like WHERE DID THE GIRL FROM THE PHONE GO!!?!?!??!?! she was a total bore... i had to initiate all the conversations.. if i didn't then she would just have stayed quite. thats how the night pretty much went. :/ so before i got home i talked to her and told her " yenno tonight... it was like being out with my bigger sister or older cousin" ( she's 3 years older than i am ) and i guess she got really upset by that.. and after that she just stopped talking to me...

so was it harsh for me to tell her that ? i feel real bad because it seems like she was really hurt by that, but i wanted to be honest with her.

Maybe she's just shy? Some people are more comfortable on the phone than in person.
And no I don't think you were being harsh... you were just being honest. Better that, than leading the poor girl on lol.

Awww. You seem like a really nice guy. You'd have been shallow of you saw her and instantly decided you bail on her, but you stayed and gave her a shot so that shows you're not shallow, or a jerk.
