2008 is coming to an end. mind sharing what you learned this year?




i learned things i thought i already knew XD.
like if i try put my mind to something, i can accomplish what i'm after despite what i, or others, think (unless it's got to do with being m/f). &
it's hard to realize that when i'm in a dilemma, i pretty much already know what i need to do. i could give myself advice right away. taking my own advice is what's difficult.

i learned that i shouldnt rush into relationships with people.
i learned that i should try to open myself up more.
i learned that i should work on my communication skills haha

i learned that concerts can super fun if you stick with it from morning to morning.

This year, I learned not to buy a car for the sticker price and that living with parents = saving money even though I havent lived with them for 6+ years and now I'm regretting moving back in with them.

I also learned not to be embarassed about my habits, my preferences, and fleeting obsessions no matter how fleeting and childish they may be. What's so wrong about being bi? What's so bad about being 23 and wanting to watch disney movies? Pffft!

I learned that even though race is a big issue [to some people], most of it's barriers have been broken because of the 08' Presidential Elections.

Doing my paper three days before it is due gives me a better grade than doing it a week before it is due. WHY??

I learned I have a lot more flaws and weakness then I originally though but because of that I also learned to better relay on my Lord & Savior for strength and getting through life's rough patch

I see my self being a much better, stronger & wiser person by this time next year!
