ttris: you can do it in adobe imageready (comes with photoshop i think):

HOW TO RESIZE GIFS
1. open up the GIF in imageready
2. click on image > image size
3. put in the dimensions
4. press ok
5. save it
6. send to your phone (:

Imageready program is only downloadable with the Adobe photoshop isn't it?
I mean, it's not like freeware or anything. O_o

how do i know what the dimensions of my phone are??

that's the only way i know how to do it.
besides jasc animation shop, i thinkkk & that costs money too.

haha, well, you can go to gsmarena, then put in your phone model in the search box,
and it should tell you the dimensions, like this:

hyunjoong wallies; all 240x320 size~

what phone do you have?
usually i go to gsmarena, search for the phone model, and look at the right side under "display size".

i checked and my phone is 240x320
but my wallpaper size is different... T_T
it says it's like 240X274
does anyone have that size wallpapers??

ummmm how do you get them I mean how do you put them on your phone? Do you save the pic and use a USB port to upload to your phone, and if so the animated ones are they animated on your phone?Sorry stupid question

oh weird >___<; what phone do you have? usually when it says the screen size is 240x320, that's the wallpaper size.
240x274 is an unusual wallpaper size, i think LOL. you can resize them though

lol it's not a dumb question. i didn't know either.
you can use a USB cord to upload it to your phone, OR you can go to a site like mobile17.com and send it to your phone, it'll cost you money to go on the internet though if you don't have that in your plan D:
and usually, i think it would stay animated (:

I have a blackberry pearl, and the images stay animated even after being transferred into the phone. But the image is just sized really off..and I'm still not sure how to resize it. Sometimes when you convert the animation picture, it stops moving. :S

It depends on your phone. With my current Samsung F480, I transfer images/music/games via USB. It's free, quick, and easy. The animated images (.gif files) remain animated after transferring, but I can't use .gif images as a wallpaper or screensaver on my phone.

But with my old phone (Samsung T309 or something... it's old), it didn't come with a USB or anything, so I had to download everything via internet. It was such a pain. And the phone would automatically resize any DLed image (.jpg, .bmp, .gif, everything) into a resolution that did NOT fit the phone, so I couldn't use any of them anyway.

thank you both! but the problem is that i don't have any of those program lol! but anyways thank you =) i will just envy those who can put the bigger wallpaper on to there phones lol =)
