what other ways do you guys know to sleep easier?

i listen to music while i sleep but that doesn't help much lol

my mum told me to eat this asian lettuce where its hairy
and tastes disgusting, overall i had i good sleep that day

another is to drink honey with milk before you go to sleep
thats unusual

When I can't sleep, I normally watch things on my ipod. From there, I fall asleep. Other times I read a book or school notes which get me really sleepy.

I heard a warm cup of milk helps too.

Yes A warm cup of milk will work. My grandpa does it every night...lol.
BUT there is a downside...you'll probably get fat. smile.gif

Some tells me to drink milk but it doesn't have an effect on me. My friend told me to read boring books or watch boring movies and I really prefer this technique because it works for me.

it's really hard for me to fall asleep. i can lie there for like an hour or more just thinking (even in the dark) so i tire myself out. i'm on the computer till pretty late and then i turn the light off and go to sleep.

it takes a while and i need a new sleeping habit because it's unhealthy.

studying
that happened to me last night
i slept at 8:30 coz i didn't want to continue studying xD
coz y'know, studying is boring. it instantly puts you off to sleep

Eat these foods for dinner:

red meat, dairy products, nuts, seeds, bananas, soybeans and soy products, tuna, shellfish, and turkey.

They all contain tryptophan, which is an amino acid that reduces blood flow to the CNS system. Which allows you to sleep a little easier wink.gif

I play on my DS, read a book or watch TV. But there are times when I still need to study, usually a LOT of text, I sleep after a few minutes. Really not helping when you have an exam vicx.gif

I heard TV & computer/surfing the 'net is actually bad. It "wakes" up your brain more than you think. I think reading [anything] is pretty good at making you fall asleep. lol. I like the studying tactic. That usually works pretty well for me, unless I'm researching something that I find fascinating.

I watch tv until I start to doze off.......if not then I'll take a sleeping pill...I'm a bad insomniac.....I could be up at 3-4am...argh

Alcohol...lol

I don't drink much at all, and so on nights I really need to get to sleep fast, I take a shot of vodka or whiskey. I personally hate alcohol very much, but it helps me sleep so pinch my nose and swallow. tongue.gif It knocks me out fast.

I def don't listen to music to fall asleep.
sometime i listen to the radio, and since i'm already tired, i just doze off, but it wakes me up later and i have to turn it off

i kinda just.. sleep. you have to just try to sleep.

i also like to think about things i like, though that gets me a little less tired. lol eventually i fall asleep.

I have the TV on in the background and just lie in bed and think about things like for ex. what I'm going to wear tomorrow, if I need to hurry or not depending on the schedules of the bus, homework or assignments for the coming week etc! When I feel like I'm getting sleepy, I turn the TV off.
