recently my boyfriend was talking about how he knew someone from this one place and she was his ex before.
and i was like "oh.." then he goes on saying she was hot and watnot. then i said "watever..." and then to make it worse, he said "What?! she is!" and that really kinda hurt me.
and i stayed quiet on the phone for a while and we got into an arguement.
i felt really pissed yet jealous. he kept apologizing and i said i forgive him after a good ten minutes of ignoring him. but still felt pissed about it.

so when your bf/gf says something along the lines like that, how does it make you feel?

How long have you been with him? If not that long, maybe he's just saying that to get you jealous? I remember when my bf and I first started dating and the topic of exes came about. He said his exes were the hot & sexy type but they always end up cheating on him or etc. He didn't go into detail so I was fine about it. But it does make me feel inferior. He was kind of different back then....

You have every right to be feeling the way you do. Its wrong of him to be shoving all that info to your face. I'm glad he apologized and hope he never does something like that again. Nowadays my bf is cautious about it and he always makes me feel like I'm the best. I think as time goes by, if he really loves you, your bf will be more attentive to your needs and won't try to get on your nerves.

Oh man I would be soooo pissed if my boyfriend was saying stuff like that. The worst he's done is avoid the question/sound hesitant/not give me a straight answer when I asked him if I was better than his ex at something I'm very insecure about. That alone was enough for me to be really hurt and really mad (though he did make up for it later since he's kinda dense and didn't realize that it wasn't just an offhand question) Fortunately he's learned what he shouldn't say and he thinks I'm better than his exes anyway =P

anyways, yeah my bf said that to me a few times. well not about his ex but about these girls that goes to his school. -___- i just show him that it hurts and i yell at him, (well not really yell since idk how to yell) haha but i raise my voice and say that he should just go be with the hot girls then. thats when he starts to apologize, but i just tell him that he's mean. because i never tell him that i think another guy is hot.
