Lee Junki for Singles
Singles have revealed a preview of Lee Junki's photoshoot in Bali, Indonesia recently.
Photographer, Park Young Soon who collaborated with Lee Junki for the shoot, praised the latter for his ability to portray a variety of different expressions, making it feel like he was filming for a drama rather than just taking pictures. He felt that the photoshoot will help Singles sell a few more additional copies of their October issue because of Lee Junki's unique charisma and popularity.
The setting for Lee Junki's photshoot was at a famous restaurant in Bali. According to a restaurant's representative, no photo taking was allowed in the restaurant. But taking into account Lee Junki's popularity in Asia, they broke their rule for Junki to use their restaurant and hopes that it will help to promote their restaurant in return.

Hero, MBCs upcoming drama and Lee Junkis next television role, has lost Han Ji-min as its leading lady and picked up Kim Min-jung (New Heart) in her place. It has also cast Ji Chang-wook, newly famous from his role as youngest brother Mi-pung in KBSs Sons of Sol Pharmacy.
Thisll be a great opportunity for Ji Chang-wook to jump from one high-profile project to another, and change his image as well. In Sol Pharmacy, hes a tender-hearted nice guy, but in Hero, hell play a spiteful and opportunistic reporter with a chip on his shoulder and a propensity for lying. (This probably sets him up as a natural rival to Lee Junkis character, who works as a reporter at a third-rate newspaper. And then theres also the elite reporter played by Eom Ki-joon) Ji said, In order to gain respect for my acting, I have to take on diverse characters and broaden my acting spectrum.
Hero (the articles note that Hero is still a working title) will enter filming once it has completed casting its supporting actors. It will follow Heading to the Ground on MBC in November. Its cast has me curious (also listed on the roster is Bbaek Ga) more than the plot, but this could be an interesting series.

Lee Junki goes blonde for GQ
Recently we told you guys that blondes seem to have more fun and Lee Junki took note of that, apparent through his photoshoot for GQ Taiwan. Although I know there is going to be an immediate comparison to fellow blondie G-Dragon, I see more of a resemblance with a vampire, due to Lee Junki's pale skin. I'm not too sure what the concept of the photoshoot is, but a secret agent seems plausible to me - I mean, the dramatic walking with a long coat, hanging out on a ladder escape, and the sunglasses? It's possible.
