Hi all,

I got my Creative Zen early 2007, can be seen as post #700 http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?sho...p;#entry5032256 (scroll all the way down).

Lately, there seems to be a problem with my Creative Zen. I can have the battery to be fully charged one day, but can't seem to turn it on the next (couple of) days. I'm only able to turn it on when I plugged in the adapter, and it will then indicate that my Creative Zen was out of battery. Thing is, I didn't use much.

I also realized it takes a longer time to start up now. =(

Is there anything I should do or is it really time to say goodbye?

I still adore my Creative Zen alot. tears.gif

Guess no one knows what's wrong with my Creative Zen...

Now, I can't even charge it.

There's a blue light blinking indicating it's charging when I plug it to the adapter or charging through usb, but there's no progress on the battery. I can only turn it on if it's charging.

i've never had this happen to mine...then again I have the 30 GB and it's my second one...this actually happen to my first first one...i've had three come throught me...lolz...first one i had to exchange was because of a similar problem...i'm not sure if this would do you any good but have your tried the restart button at the bottom? and try reading the manual as to what that little blinking blue light is...other than that since i'm guessing you didn't buy additional warranty on it...they probably can't help you on it without charging you for the service...if anything you can try calling their company and asking what they can do to help you...cause to throw away a 60 GB player is really hard to do...for me anyways...lolz...good luck on it though...

I'm also quite surprise at how mine turn out coz I have heard of good reviews from users of Creative Zen. I got mine in Feb 2007, I don't think that's considered as really old...

The manual is no use. Well, the blinking blue light shows it's charging. I plugged it to the adapter the whole of last night, and in the morning, it still shows "low battery" I tried the reset button a couple of times too, still no change. blink.gif

Thing is, there's no Creative shops at where I am. wacko.gif

Yea, I seriously do not want to throw my 60GB Zen, sigh. tears.gif

Thanks for replying though. =)

Hmm.. that's weird! I own a Zen V Plus and I had no problems with it.. only once when I dropped it and I thought it died and I tried the reset.. Have you tried contacting Creative? They can probably help you

Yea, strange case. My Zen just went bonkers so suddenly, and it has never been dropped. wacko.gif

Problem is, there's no Creative center from where I am, sigh.
