I hate taking the bus but i have to cause my parents leave early for work. I can get a ride but that means I will arrive to school TOO EARLY. I did that last year, and i find myself being bored all the time in the morning. So i have no choice in taking the bus to school. I have to take 2 Buses to school and 2 buses home. I hate taking it cause im always late or I miss my bus and I end up waiting in the cold for like 15-30 mins. ANYONE HATE it themselves too? Share why u hate it and ur experiences while taking public transit

I don't really hate the bus... coz I'm not late or anything.
I sometimes feel embarassed if I get picked up by my parents, coz I think i'm old enough to go by myself lol. I'm 17 btw.

I used to take the bus home from my old college. It was about an hour ride on the bus from the main campus.
I would get really bored toward the end. I agree I didn't like the waiting and if we had a lot of stops.

I remember back in the day in New York when bus far was only a $1.50.
But that was like, ten years ago ):

I hate riding the bus in the morning.
Most times, they just pass because it's too full.
and then i end up waiting for another one
and then i end up being late to class

if i miss the bus after work i have to wait atleast 40 minutes before the enxt one comes

today i had to wait for it in the wet cold rain =.=

i've been taking the bus for 5 years now.
(my parents leave for work early too...so i'm left to take the bus to school.)
in middle school, i had to take THREE buses to school and back home...
so imagine...SIX BUSES A DAY. T____T
and i would arrive at school 40 minutes before school start so i was always the first one to school...
(even before the school let kids in the building) so i was left to do nothing too...

thank goodness i only take one bus. ^____^ and i'm not the first one to school. haha

for youth (age 5-17), it costs 50 cents. adults are $1.50.

heh. i hate it too.
today i happen to miss the bus and it was raining.

my parents spend $31 a month for the student bus pass.
with this reason, i have to wake up at least 1 hour early to get to the bus.
then im always on school TOO early.

i'm a pretty patient person, so i got used to waiting 30+ minutes whenever im a bit late. but i do freak if it makes me super doooper late for my classes/work
but overall i like the busrides. i use my monthly pass so no digging through the bottom of my bag/pockets for change
i guess what makes me so tolerant is my beloved ipod ^^

Every morning I have to take a majorly cramped UBC bus! I hate it because when it's my stop, I can barely make it to the door. At times the door will close in my face and I'll have to yell over the loud people on the bus in order for the bus driver to hear me.

I can't wait until I go to UBC next year so I can get off the bus with everyone esle.

I used to take 3 buses.. to school and 3 buses back.. took 1 hour and half each time. One time at a very cold winter night, I waited for the bus 50 motherfrikking minutes in front of my school. I will never forget that. I actually called them the next day to complain. Now I take 2 buses to school and 2 buses back since I recently moved but I still hate it. I hate waiting and I hate the horny old men that harrass me and other women. Arghhhhh. But what can I do.. I keep failing my driving test T_____T

I hate taking the bus, bus drivers can be so cranky so I get scared of them. I am nothing compared to you. Then again my mum always forgets to pick me up till about an hour later... Even if it's pouring with big, fat rain. Once it was pouring she told me she decided to go shopping before she'd pick me up. I hate the smell on the buses and when they don't think I'm a student. I'm glad I have my Smart Rider.

Wow....I think I'm the only one here who likes the public transportation system. I never have to wait more than 10 mintues for a bus....but i'm usually on time so yeah....and not only that, i dont have to worry about parking or paying for parking, traffic, i can take the H.O.V. lane, and i dont have to worry about idiots on the road. Then again my public transportaion system was ranked #1 in the nation!
