Like, say you're not a virgin, but you're afraid to tell a close friend or your s/o because you're afraid of their reaction.
Or you were pregnant and you were afraid to tell them because, again, their reaction, or just something.

Haha, this question popped in my head when I found out one of my friends was lying to me about being a virgin..
Not that I really mind,
but I just thought mm, why lie about that? Or when my friend lied about never having her first kiss, so she'd like, urge guys to "teach her" how to kiss. LOL I kind of thought that was humorous but.. wow. Yeah. O_O Eventually everyone found out.. woah.

The worst that happened to me was when i was playing this one girl a month or two ago, and i started liking her. I lied about so many things that i was scared to even ask her out because she'll eventually find out about everything. It sucked.

Hm...nothing really personal (sexual partners, birth control, etc); he knows pretty much everything about me. The only things I've neglected to tell him is how sometimes a guy will tell me he likes me and it's a guy my boyfriend has beef with already so I'm moderately sure my boyfriend would go after him and confront him if he knew that guy was trying to steal me away. There's no point in creating that hostility and I usually stop talking to that guy anyhow. Oh, I lied to him that I liked his shirt a couple of days ago though.

i suck at it. the guilt kills. it's complicated. i suck at it. and i just suck. rofl.
people deserve to know the truth... though. not telling is not lying.. to me.. that's the only thing i resort to. as obvious as it gets sometimes anyways.

No, I wouldn't be able to stand having to live with that lie while in the relationship with my s/o. It would probably eat me from the inside and I'd hate to think that my s/o might be doing the same to me. And I can basically tell everything to my closest friends, that's why they're my closest friends, lol. So if it's with people I'm super close with, I don't lie about personal matters, but of course there's exceptions, for ex. family-only matters.

But so far, no, I haven't lied about a personal matter (yet?).

I hardly lie to my boyfriend, however... there's this one lie that I have, and it can potentially hurt our relationship if it ever came out. Didn't cheat or anything like that... but he wouldn't like it once he found out. Eh...
I think it's hard to be 100% truthful... I've done many things in the past, and in my own selfish way, I don't want to tell people about it. More power to those who can be completely honest with their s/o, it's really hard.

My friends tell me that because he loves me he wouldn't leave me .
But I'm thinking "If I love him, I shouldn't lie to him ."
