I just bought an LG kp500 from ebay and after playing with it for several days, I finally realized that the voicemail doesn't work! I held down the 1 but it dials nothing.. I even tried to dial an old voicemail number from my simcard from the last phone and it says that I need to press the voicemail number from the carrier, which I did and then it says that thats not correct.. Has anyone had a problem with an unlocked phone and voicemail because I've never had this problem before with other phones.

call 611 and ask for your voicemail number...i ran into this a couple times...just simply ask if you can have your direct vm number...

if your using tmobile, i believe if you dial 123 that will take you to your vm.
