That is kinda sad. I missed one payment on my car and they didnt do anything about it. They just made my next payment double so it wouldnt go on my credit.

Most banks wait for 3 missed payments...
Did you default on the very first payment? Did you finance with a subprime lender? Usually, they are much more stict than a traditional lender like Bank of America for instance

As the economy is getting into crap shoot, yes the banks can do that. I hope you read the news of what they did to homeowners.

It's not my car. I don't even own one. -__-
My boyfriend's car got repo'd.
He's really taking a beat down financially.
He works with stocks.
Gosh I feel so horrible.
But I didn't know that they could do that.
And yes, I read about the homeowner stuff. It's so messed up.
I feel so bad for everyone.

Are you sure hes not leaving out some detail? one missed payment seems kinda harsh and unheard of?
