Asian Popcorn Chicken the kind at boba places

well...i live in a place that doesn't have many asian places around and i really miss eating it. so i was wondering if anybody had the recipe for the ASIAN POPCORN CHICKEN. (the american one is just not the same)

from what i seen, they used plenty of garlic and some special sauce and then cover it with flour.. @_@

Forsure there's garlic and chili powder. Black pepper? And def MSG.

Make sure you get thighs, those cook more tender, have a bit more fat in them, thus flavoring.
Dip in flour before frying the first time, take out, egg wash it and dip in another layer of flour, and then refry.
So you fry it twice :X
Season with pepper salt/chili powder.
That's pretty much the gist of it

It seems like they use tapioca starch or potato starch..I'm not sure about the seasoning though

I love eating it. its decilious as anything but the only time i ever get to eat it is when i go to taiwan. I've never seen it avail here in syd aust.

All failed places use MSG cause it's a cheap alternative.
I might as well eat instant ramen rather than order real ramen.

They ask your preference on how spicy you want it to be....o__o
At least Tapioca does, and SweetTea, etc.
