a young age I'm really proud and I'm really happy to be one of their fan

At first I'm a big SuJu Fan and at that time around 2006
I don't really care or interested about them but then
I got really irritated because I always see their name
in every forum that I have been to so I decided to watch
some of their videos and choose HUG then BAM I instantly fell in love.

Eventhough I don't understand a single thing they are saying or singing
but by listening to their amazing voice
they really touched my heart.
They are the only group that can make me really happy because of their
dorky personality and make me cry because of their amazing songs and achievement

I'm so proud to be a fan. Reading this thread, I realized, it's not how long you've been a fan, or how many pictures you have that makes you a Cassie. It's how much you LOVE the boys. I am a Cassie, because I would do anything for them. Because when a new single comes out, I listen to it obsessively and look for videos on youtube. Because I agree with everything everyone's written so far. The boys have made my life so much more enjoyable. Even though I haven't been a fan for five years, there is still five years worth of videos and music and articles for everyone to enjoy.

This is rather long...you may skip.

By being a fan, it is normal to want to share your joys with the people close to you but it is not as easy as sharing food. Language and culture differences are an enormous obstacle not to mention taste preference. It is so lonely that sometimes I start pleading to my friends to listen to me so I can talk about them. But this is an addiction that is so hard to get rid of. But the question is, do I really want to forget?

At first, I thought that they were just one of those typical boy bands with good looks, charming smiles, weird hairs, dancing skills who can sing a little. But surprise, surprise! I was proven wrong. They're all that, but much more, much much more than that.

I’ve only known of them recently, but the short 7 months is enough for me to decide to stick and stay in this fandom even if it’s wild and crazy sometimes. I’ve thought about it a lot and this is what I’ve come up with. I realized that they are merely men, imperfect in different ways, human exactly like us, just like me. They are not Gods despite their name, great maybe but still human. But what made them extraordinary in my eyes aside from their vocal strength and numerous talents are their determination, hard work, friendship, and their humility. Their determination is evident in their live performances. You can feel that they give their all even if they’re tired. Just by the way they sing, you can tell that music is in their soul and the listeners will surely experience the full impact of their songs. Their journey in Japan is admirable to say the least. It seems so hard to start from scratch when they’re already at the top of their own country, they even wavered and would have given up but they conquered it and they remain strong until now. Truly amazing. Their hard work is something I want to emulate, it is simply exceptional. Their jam packed schedule IS the testament. And no matter what condition they are in, they still perform. Their friendship and teamwork is in a different level, they promote each other’s strengths and fill each other’s weaknesses. They complement each other so well that they seem perfect in our eyes. And they are so humble, they are at the top and no one can deny that but their attitude remains the same, they show respect even to their juniors and they stay grounded in spite of their fame.

In the process of knowing them, I realized some truths in life though it’s always been there but they have reinforced it for me. You can gain self-respect in hard work, dignity in perseverance, love in friendship and other’s respect in humility. Their attitude has thought me all this and more.

It’s like an essay..I know ,I’m sorry if it’s rather long but it’s their 5th anniversary and my first anniversary in this fandom, so yeah..I indulged myself. Just wanna express myself a little.

I have only been a fan of DBSK for a little bit over a year....and I have seen so many different sides of the boys which only made me love them even more!! They are truly more than just idols and five pretty faces. They all possess so much more than what meets the eye. And I am so very proud to be a Cassiopeian. I can't say that I'm their biggest fan because there are so many, many, many, and many more people out there in any corner of the world that contributed more to our amazing 동방신기 than I have. But I do certainly want to be their biggest fan!!!!

I'm sure being their fan for about a year isn't very long. It's only 1/5 of the way. There are many who supported them from the beginning. And people have doubted on the them at some point, but I really believe that there are more than enough people out there who have supported them from the very beginning, till now, and forever on. But just think about it, missing out on 4 years of our five amazing boys won't seem very long in the future because they will try to make it to forever, for all of us. But right now, it doesn't matter, because I love 동방신기, and that's all I care about!!! In the end, no matter what, even if they break up tomorrow, I will still love them with all my heart, because in my eyes, as long as our five amazing boys still exist, 동방신기 exists in my heart.

I may have only been your fan for around a year or so, but that doesn't mean that I love and appreciate you guys any less than the fans who have been by your side since the very beginning.Thanks for being so inspiring and never losing yourselves in the world of fame. You all have remained your sweet and humble selves.

I am glad that I found you guys. This was the time during when I was in the 9th grade and I was just getting into Japanese music and I happened to stumble upon a community on LiveJournal for NEWs, KAT-TUN, and DBSK. I knew who NEWs and KAT-TUN were, but I had no clue who DBSK was. I searched on Google and BAM. At first, my favorite was Jae Joong merely based on looks. Then as I watched Rising Sun, the Japanese version, I was amazed their dancing and singing skills. From the very beginning, I was hooked. I watched more and more videos of DBSK on Japanese TV shows and I was mesmerized by the mustard taiyaki-eating leader, Yun Ho. As the year passed on, I grew to love DBSK more and more. If I never found DBSK, I wouldn't have ever been introduced to KPOP. And I basically listen to mainly KPOP now.

Anyways, I feel lucky that I have found such a good group to follow. Thank you for all the smiles, jokes, songs, dances, tears, and everything. You guys have grown so much physically, vocally, and emotionally. I can see how you have all retained your unique qualities and how you have matured as artists and people. Hopefully, DBSK can continue working together until the end of time. I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas and there are more challenges, tears, and smiles ahead of you. Keep your head up and never let the bad times get you down!

my five years is here, too. i just can't believe that it's been five years since i've been there fangirl.
always obsessing, going crazy, smiling, laughing, and crying over them. over the five years, they grew inside me of me. i watched all the happenings, and til this day it's been wonderful. i will keep on supporting them til the end.
