well.. it is their 5th year anniversary.. Many things has happened within these years.. ahh~.. Their 5th anniversary.. we'll always remember the day you debutted.. up until now. Cassiopeia will always be with oppadeul forever. <3 Forever five? =) `Course. We all know, that they will soar high.. They are the REAL Rising Gods of the East. They will always strive to the top with Cassiopeia by their sides! Hopefully, year after year, they'll gain more fans, and more, and more. fly away, fly away, fly away, fly to the top. Everyone one of us love oppadeul. Whatever they do, we follow, standing by their sides forever and ever. We all love TVXQ and we always will. <3 These past 5 years, there might have been some bad times, and some accidents, but, if we all throw all those thoughts away, won't we just have mellow and unforgettable memories together? as i was scrolling down, i read everyone's post and it is so heart warming
to know that we are all from different parts of the world with different lives
and goals striving down different paths but we have one common love...

that in itself speaks so much about the music and character of DBSK.

their music is simply beautiful and it soothes my soul:
if i'm sad, it can make me smile
if i'm angry, it can calm me
if i'm lonely, it can give me comfort

and their characters...so pure and genuine that it draws you to them:
for no other group have i sat before my computer for hours on end

There are no words to describe, ending of 2005 thats when i heard about you guys <3.
These 5 boys opened my eyes to many things, made me meet some of the best people in the world and make me feel happy and joyful in my darkest days.

I've been a fan of them for more than a year now... yes.... I am considered as a new fan but since I've known them, I went online everyday to find info & news about them. and I can say, I know pretty much everything that a fan must know.
How did i know them? Well, my roommate is a huge fan of Se7en. She did kinda influenced me to like Se7en as well.. and I downloaded an X-Man episode where Se7en & Yunjae were on it. That was the first time I saw Jaejoong & Yunho. I fell in love with Jaejoong the first time i laid my eyes on him. I that episode, he kinda have that mysterious aura on him. He was making that 'I'm a good boy' joke. I was instantly attracted to him. Then i started looking up info about him & found out that he was in a group called Dong Bang Shin Ki. and the rest was history & it lead up to where I am now.
Never in my life that my fandom lasted more than 6 months.. August 2008 was my one year anniversary knowing them.
I still love them & feel excited with every little news about them like the first time I know them. My enthusiasm & spazzing is still going strong & will last forever.

I can't believe they've grown up so much in the last 5 years...

Although i have only loved them since the 6th of july 2007, i feel that i have known them for a long time.

I still remember the day i started loving them, and since then, my life has really change!
Its become more colorful. Talking about DBSK non-stop, checking about them daily, watching all their videos, all these, has made my life so much busier, yet so colorful.

Dongbangshinki has gone true so many hardships yet, they appear as 5 strong happy boys in front of us fans.
They never want to disappoint us, working hard to show us how much they appreciate our presence.
The expression when they win every single award, is something you won't find in all celebrities.
The humble face, the joy in the expression, the expressions that show us how thankful they are, i will never ever forget.

Hearing their music,
no matter what, i will be happy.
when i am sad, it makes me happy.
when i am tired, it makes me awake.
when i am lonely, it makes me feel that i have the whole world accompanying me.
whatever i am feeling, after listening to their voices, it makes me feel the way i want to feel.

Some people ask me, why do you love them so much to the extent that you talk about them every sentence you say?
well, to me, they are not only 5 boys that can sing and dance and are good looking..
No, they aren't only that.
They are humble boys, that no matter what they achieve, they are always humble.

When i watch their videos, seeing their real characters, i really really know that i am going crazy over the right people. They are so pure, so real, not like some celebrities that are there just because they want to be famous and more...

I have never been so crazy. No. never.
To me, they deserve what they have today.
And that is why, i can't help but buy the stuff they produce all the time to support them.

Because of them, i watch so many videos, that i have never ever done for others.
because of them, i listen to so many songs, that i know so many of their song lyrics by heart.
My friends ask me, Wow, how come you can sing so many korean & japanese songs.
Its because i listen to them so much, listen to the emotions they put into the song that makes me feel the song and so it becomes inevitable to not remember the lyrics.

I remember when i went for their concert last year, seeing the emotions they put in live, i told myself, this band, is not any ordinary band that i love. I will love this band forever, because they put in much more effort than others, and where they stand today, oh so famous, they are never proud.
I can't believe i am showing this crazy side of me to everyone i know. That everyone i know, every knew friend i make, they know i love this korean band.

Because of them, i have laughed, i have cried, people ask me why, i say, i don't know, 그대를... 사랑합니다.
I know i will love them forever, because they deserve my love.

I supported them ever since they started with Whatever they say single.
If we say, 5 years is long.. its not. Its pretty short for the boys to have achieve such good results in their careers.

I still remember when I first saw their music video of HUG. I got stuck when Xiah's sang his solo.
I still remember when I first saw their stupid hair styles for triangle, I laughed and begged they don't repeat again.
I still remember when I first saw their appearances on Xman and LL. I sweared, I never got stuck to korean variety shows for so long.
I still remember when I first saw their Rising Sun showcase. I recognized their talents once again, with Junsu's SOLO performance - DIES.
I still remember when I first saw their "Proud" performance in Five in the black concert. Again, because of this song, they made me realised they worked hard and do their very best.

I still remember the first time I listened to Whatever they say, I tried to guess who sings which part and I was right about Junsu's voice.
I still remember the first time I listened to Hug. I ripped the song and made it into my mobile message tone.
I still remember the first time I listened to Rising Sun. I was amazed on how high changmin can scream.
I still remember the first time I listened to Rainy Night. The power and emotions he has, I need not explain any further.
I still remember the first time I listened to Don't Cry My Lover. I teared, because this song makes my heart sink.

I'm proud of DBSK not just because they are famous.
Imagine those nights when they lost their time of sleep.
Imagine those days when they were practicing for their latest dance steps.

I suddenly had an urge to put on that song - Hug.
The song that started it all for 東方神起.

That song was not the beginning for me though, the spell they put on me.
Late 2006, through a random profile I saw titled something along the lines of,
"Still think boybands are gay? Watch this!"

Out of curiousity, I clicked the play button.
The fellow fangirls could probably imagine my reaction very well, haha..
Yoochun's soft gaze on the Rising Sun as he stood on the balcony,
Jaejoong's mysterious, somber aura as he stood in the church,
Yunho's strong glare and sharp fists against the punching bag,
Changmin's screams of anguish amidst the crowd of swaying bodies,
Junsu's rhythem against the drum, sweat dripping from his hair..

Ugh, I was smitten.
(Still am, mind you.)

They went through so many stages. They grew; heart, mind and soul.
And I as well, along with them.


Five years - they've been together.
Three years - they've been in my mind.
