welllllllll as a teenager in highschool , (freshman) & my parents won't let me work ?
but i don't know how to get money, should i ask my parents for allowance ? how much is enough per month / week ?

and then i work so i have money^^;;
but before, i just ask them for money if i need anything.
and my lunch money is too much so i get to save!^^

I get thirty bucks a month. My mom just randomly decided to start giving me allowance. I also save my lunch money so that adds up.

I have youth allowance as well and that comes every fortnight.

well, no fixed amount at a fixed time, at least. if i need money, i just ask my parents (at a reasonable amount, lolol)... but i don't really do that anymore.

i get money if i ask for it but usually i dont ask. but i just got a job so i dont think i need $$ from my parents. i use to get $20 a week plus lunch money. but i dnt like the food @ my school and plus i prefer bringin a lunch from school. way easier than standing in an endless long line

they have issues.not me. maybe it's coz i'm the eldest or something? idk.

maybe because they want you to focus more in your schoolwork.

i get 100 a month sometimes more. 25-30 a week.
i used to only get 80 a month but the food prices went up @ my school.
i save it up though. rarely even use it for food.

i've never gotten allowance. i get money by saving lunch money, saving christmas and birthday money, and recycling pop cans. man, it sucks being poor.

same here.....I always save up my Lunar New year money, birthday money, sometimes holidays money like christmas, thanksgiving....etc......yes I save a lot......until I was 14 (the legal age to work) I started working.......

Lmao I don't get allowance either. Sometimes my family would randomly give me money but its a not "set" If I need money (which is once in a blue moon) I just ask and I get it. I usually keep the change and it makes me cheap because I don't want to spend that money XD

when i just started highschool, i had allowance of $5 a week >< and then an increase of $5 every year and now i get $30 a week though only when there is uni, during holidays i get none ><
