I have the Helio Ocean btw
1) reception is pretty good in NJ (sorry I don't live in your area)
2) call quality is good -- nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about
3) Korean language is an option under customization (if you want the phone formatted in all korean or all english) -- but if you want to type in korean there should be a little toggle button where it switches from abc --> korean
4) I never tried texting to Korea, but I'm sure you can considering you can call to Korea
5) Yeah I think so unless your other friends have korean language in their phones already
6) yes see #3
7) The service is alright-- I mostly switched over to Helio because I wanted to the Ocean-- but it isn't really worth it imo (I don't talk to a lot of Korean people, lol) There's nothing to complain about. I just want my old AT&T back because I could be saving more money since more people I talk to have AT&T. But if you're the opposite of me, by all means, get the phone :]

i have the helio fin.
smartypantalon answered most of the questions the same way i would so i'm only gonna address a few of your questions.
4. you can text to korea. its great b/c helio is the only US service provider (i believe) that allows you to do this. and if you have the free texting plan, texts to korea are also free.
5. some of my friends have a korean language app installed in their iphone (idk how or what it is) but i know they are able to get my korean text messages. however, i am unable to see theirs. so basically i can text out to them, but i can't receive korean texts back. However, texting with people in korea (who have korean cell phone services), you can text and read.
7. the service is okay. the only thing is i think the battery life of my helio fin is kind of junk. but idk that could just be my phone.
hope it helps!
