HAVE YOU SEEN ME?

If you see one for sale TELL ME.
No, it wasn't stolen I just want one bad.
I've been scanning cars.com, autotrader.com, craigslist (CA cities), eBay, etc.
for weeks - no luck.
Am I missing any other good sites?

Desired specs:
94 or 95
mostly stock
naturally aspirated
manual
black with black interior
hardtop would be nice but next to impossible

Your help would be much appreciated. sweatingbullets.gif

I heard the NA versions were junk, just pick up a Miata, plenty of them around. Hardtop costs $800 bucks, but def worth it i'd say, esp in the winters.

Go on the mr2 forums, they usually have a couple for sale. The thing I found out about people on forums is that they usually don't like using autotrader or sites like that because they cost money when they can just put it up on the forum for free. I always see them for sale around me but I'm on the other coast.
I am poor. Please spare a dollar if you see me :)

n/a mr2s suck an absurd amount of a certain male appendage. not only do they have no power, the power falls of past like 5.5k rpms. its NO fun to drive with an engine like that

Yeah, not sure why you want a NA MR2. That being said my friend's buddy has one in your exact specs...but not for sale. sad.gif

I use to want one, but its too hard to find. Plus i dont want to spend thousands on mods. Rather just get a new car. Are you planning to have it as a project car?

How much are you looking to spend for this car and what kind of mileage are you looking to get? Also, if you don't mind me asking, why are you looking to get a 94 or 95? The NA ones are not that bad, I'm sure you have your own reasons for wanting one. I'm actually very interested in hearing why you're looking for a 5sfe powered one over a 3sgte powered one. Is it because of better dependability? price? fuel economy? or perhaps you have some crazy plans for it? smile.gif

My cousin has a black MR2, he's not actively looking for a buyer, but he already bought a m3 and just recently bought a porsche...so i suspect he's not driving it very much anymore...

If you might be interested, give me a pm, i'll ask him, and quote a price too. We're in the san francisco area

I was about to do the same thing too. I think the Miata looks better with a hardtop haha

So what are your intentions for the NA?

they came in hard top AND t-top. all t-top cars suck though. seals will leak, the seams can squeak and the biggest reason for their suckage is the reduction in chassis rigidity and added weight. just a few weeks ago i drove a t-top nsx and hardtop nsx back to back, night and day difference even when driving on the street.
