Help With Internet Settings on sony ericsson w200i - tmobile.

i cant get the internet to work right
i have t-mobile. my phone is an unlocked w200i
i see the little earth icon logo come up does that mean i have internet?
i get an error::
HTTP ERROR:
$CODES$
$MESSAGE$
RequestURl=/download/download.do?cmd=owp&appl=searchengine

when i try to use apps they cant connect

i would appreciate if anyone could help.
