I'm sorry ! I didn't take that many UC Berkeley pictures, just random me + friends. We're going there again just with ourselves because we looove the things around the campus, i'll take pictures then?! UC Berkeley is reallly really huge. It's somewhat easy to get lost, but then again it's not that hard to find your way back (=. And everything has that old vibe but still blends with the new. Heheh, i liked it.
Greek life, well frats &sororities are somewhat same and different. You learn about leadership, service, schlarship &friendship. It's a great way to meet friends, i think (even though some think you're just paying for friends). &Living in the houses, seem so great. Cheaper than apartments around here, and cheaper than dorms, and free laundry, personal chef, all the shabang!? Absolutely NO HAZING, so they say, but hey it can be in secrets. The CalGreeks told me that Rush is before you start school, 4 days, Thursday, Friday, Saturday &Sunday so you won't miss your classs -i was afraid i would miss m classes, haha.-, &pledging is basically philantropy, learning everything about the house you'll soon be joining &of course meeting higher power. And it's a key to good jobs, yes! They're study files in most houses too, which is basically you take the notes of someone who previously had the class to study with.
It's really one fourth of what you see on the television, i think. If you're really dedicated, you'd keep your grades on top to stay in. There's required GPA to stay, or you'll be on probation -which is basically no fun )=-. I'm sorry, i really love the greek life. My two older brothers were in chapters, and they made me so interested. I asked ridiculously tons of questions yesterday on that tour. And when i went yesterday, i hella felt i belonged. So sorry for ranting!
Stanford next!

You're so lucky you live in Cali. I'd love to go there for college, but I live on the opposite side of the country...where it's cold and boring...: (
Greek life sounds awesome! I don't get why people keep telling me that it's a waste of time and money. It sounds like a good deal (and time lol) to me. Plus the connections are great! It'd be nice to have a job when I'm fresh out of college. haha.
haha. No need to apologize. You pretty much answered all of my questions. : )
My brother is in a fraternity too! He doesn't talk about it too much, but when he does he always makes it sound like a lot of fun. He's pretty close with his bros too, but then again he's been living with them for a while now. : )
Stanford!!! 8D Gah, that's definitely my dream school...doubt I can get in, but hey, you know what they say! Gotta shoot for the stars! : )
about 2 and a half more weeks till AP euro exam day.
(>._.)>
ah! is anyone planning to do internships over the summer?
Good luck! : ) I wish I could take AP classes, but my school doesn't offer any to sophomores...
I was really interested in interning, but idk where to start! : ( Have any ideas?
lmao its totally fine
and i agree with you!
i feel liek im growing up fasttt but i still feel young. hm.
but i want some freeedom outside my house
and they ability to use my own money and study whenever.
am i making sense?
Oh yeah. I definitely hear ya. I don't get any freedom where I am...
College seems like a dream compared to high school. I mean, it's a lot harder, but at least we're studying things that we're interested in.
I was talking to my brother and he said that you get more work but you have more free time. haha. Go figure. : )
^Well, if you really want the AP credits then why not? I think colleges just want you to have 4 credits of math but I'm sure it'll impress them if you have 5 credits (and passed both AP exams).
Now you guys are making me feel old. >_<
I heard that Junior year is harder but it's twice amount of fun though.
I could use the fun part though, this year was SO boring it's not even funny .
Hopefully I won't catch an early case of senioristis.
I want to visit colleges but most colleges I want to go to are out-of-state and my mom's been bugging me to go in state when our colleges really suck.
When you guys getting out? I'm getting out on June 10th so that's only 7 weeks left! -dances-
haha. Sorryy.
Oh yeah. Agreed. And I mean, the upside to this is that we're gonna be...gah, JUNIORS....I can't really describe it. I mean, we really are getting closer to college! It's freaking me out! When I got my first letter from a college I started getting nervous. haha. I remember when my older siblings got theirs. I could've sworn they were SO OLD when they got them!
I think financially it'd be smart for me to go to college in state, but my parents want me to go where ever I want...But then again, Stanford and awesome school AND I'd get free tuition! 8D Woot! Talk about a win-win situation. haha.
Ah! I get out on the 19th of June.
It's better than next year though...It starts September 8th and we get out June 25th. KFLDSKFLDS
