AP US History
AP Literature
Algebra 2 Honors[again?! o.O]
Art 1

Spanish 2
Extracurricular: VP or Pres for Pan-asian club at my school, Hopeful ASB Secretary?, Track & Field to keep in shape >:3
Heh, Didn't do so well first semester of Algebra 2~ So poor at math ^^;;
thats probably why I'm going to have to take summer school for first semester of that,
and hopefully I pass THIS semester so I can Email my counselor that I would like to drop
that and art, and instead get a better elective and a science class :3
On top of my extra stuff, should I REALLY having 2 ap classes?~
I'm not planning on going anywhere fancy..[most likely cc + 2 year transfer to UC]
but I want to push myself n__n
just wanna know if its a good idea or not!

I know for one, when I took the APUSH exam, it was so much easier than the tests that my teacher gave.
(It may also be because he's been a history teacher for, hmm, almost 40 years now and he prepped us really well because he knows the test well.)
Anyways, you lucky people who are on break right now. TT____TT
I still have about 4 weeks left and none of my teachers are hinting of stopping work anytime soon... not that I'm looking forward to the summer because I'm attending SAT classes. TT____TT

It wasn't that bad this year (in IB), just boring....and tests for over 7 chapters are a time (actually that was only 2 tests).Did I mention the countless times I fell asleep while doing the reading guide/homework???0.o so much time was gone because of that!!
The exam seemed easier than the tests in class....just DON"T procrastinate and pay attention in class, I'm sure you will all do fine
Anyways good luck to the people in APUSH next year

i asked my older bro if he's every heard of it, he hasn't. dunno if it's legit or not.
this year did breeze by. it was way busier and harder than freshman year. and if junior year is worse...
i kinda want to transfer to an art based high school next year.
my grades aren't spectacular, usually in the A and B range (for final grades); so would that be a bad idea to transfer?
on that note, any class of '11's go to vocational schools (art, tech, bio/med, etc)? what's it like?
i go to a vocational/magnet school ^^
bca in bergen county nj if you ever heard of it~
http://www.newsweek.com/id/137421
^ thats us, first on the list
we have 7 academies:
culinary arts and hotel administration [my academy <3, 18 kids]
advancement of science and technology [largest academy, 80 ish]
medical science technology [50 ish]
business and finance [30-40 ish, they're required to take all ib's jnr & snr year = HELL]
engineering and design technology [30-40 ish]
telecommunications and computer science [20 ish]
visual and performing arts [20-30 ish]
-music
-art
-theatre
we all have the same history, lit, language, math [there are like 10 levels!] courses
then we all have our 'special' class, like i have culinary class 4 times a week in our huge kitchen.
we do food food frosh & soph year then baking jr & sr years.
we DO get written tests and menu projects and we have a textbook!
science, med, engineering academies have extra science class requirements, like some years they have to take all 3 sciences at once, only they meet a couple times a week, but i've witnessed how much they suffer!
our school days are 8:00 to 4:10 TT
BUT we have 'frees' throughout the day, and on average students have at least 2-3 hours free a day, including lunch.
but its different everyday so sometimes we have like 3 classes the entire day = like 5 hours free!
every single students sched. is different, so you have so much freedom and nobody knows when you have classes, therefore its very easy to cut classes
we come from every single town in bergen county, most asian parents in this area are obsessed with getting their child into this school, its extremely competitive, its just like applying to college. the number of students per town is based on the size of the town's hs.
at the end of the day there are like 50 buses in line and everybody scrambles to find their bus. it takes like 20 min, so i get to my bus stop in my town at 5 everyday.
SUPER long post, but i felt like writing about my beloved hs. oh btw, the average amt of sleep a bca student gets is 5-6 hours, based on a schoolwide survey.
nevertheless, i dont regret applying here <3
