I have Creative Zen Vision M and ive been trying to convert videos but i get an error saying that directshow codec required is not installed. where can i download this?

hmmm. i don't know about the codec, but when i convert videos for the zen, i use iriverter so i don't have to download the codecs needed for the creative conversion program thingy.

Does the video you want to convert play in like windows media player? If it doesn't then you will probably need to install FFdshow so that format can be supported in direct show. Lot of times people use like GOM player or VLC to play things and not need to install codecs, but it sounds like the converter might need it.

no, the videos i download only play in gom player. i downloaded divx directshow thing i found but when i used it, it converted the videos like upside down in my zen. haha idk, sooo confusing. but thanks for the help:) ill try to use iriverter:)
