I go to school with my best friend's ex boyfriend. He's in a couple of my classes (i'm a senior in highschool)and we talk occasionally since he sits close to me. I've known him since i was really young since our parents were close friends but i didn't get close to him until he went out with my best friend last year. The thing is.. outside of school he never talks to me. Tonight was my best friend's 18th dinner and he didn't even say hi to me and even avoided eye contact with me. It was pretty shady and it wasn't the first time something like this happened. It seems that he only talks to me when he needs help with something. For instance, I stayed up till 3 am once helping him on a project! Should i stop talking to him? I don't know what his problem is. Someone told me that he had a little crush on me a while back. Does that have anything to do with his weird behavior? I don't want to sound conceited but is it possible that he likes me or is he just using me? Any advice?

how i know cause i do that sometimes too ( i know its very mean to do but i do anything to get good grades)

i have a bunch of smart guy friends and everytime i need help i always im them and they always help me and most of them i only met 1x. one of them know i do it cause he is always like "your lucky you are cute" and he still helps me even thought i only met him 1 time and i only talk to him online. i mean some people are genuinely nice (you might be) and willing to help someone but you can think of it either way.
