do u think its annoying how human civilization have advance so far that , they are almost no longer boundaries between the elite and the low ?

back in the old time during the joseon dynasty you can easily tell from the way they dress

the elite
the low

in this modern society there is almost no longer class seperation due to those violent people who keep fighting for equal right , thus endangering the elites..

i hope one day ( u know how we human trend always cycle..) that we could tell apart between classes in more obvious ways

inconclusion, are we really civilized compared to the old dynasties where nobles, scholars get the respect they deserve?

xxJaeJoongSarangxx is this fashion forward awesome kid who doesn't care what other people think on her. She just goes out and does what she loves to do that is 'SHOPPING+FASHION'.She's not the typical kid that you would find on the streets every single day. She's a unique, complex and so 'HIGH SOCIETY'.

There still is. Its just subtle now. Bad teeth, no brand name materials, the neighborhood you live in, the school you attend, and the people you know. Classism is still there. No need to worry, babe.

In addition to sumptuary laws, one of the major determinants of class in mediaeval societies the eloquence with which one could express oneself. Would you like me to do a vocabulary and grammatical analysis of your writing above and then venture a guess at where you'd fit in class-wise in a highly stratified modern English-speaking society that did that? Would you like to live in a society where you were judged on such a basis? Probably you'd rather live in 2008 where someone who is smart and hard working but learns English as a second language can still succeed relative to the rest of society. And if you’re female, you probably prefer living in a society in which you’re free to express your opinion in mixed company, too.

Why would anyone be annoyed by that? .____.
Anyway, there's still a boundary between the classes, it's just that it isn't as clear as it used to be.

=D So if one were to evaluate the topic starter's grammar and vocabulary, s/he would be put in the lower class.

How ironic.

Why in the world would you WANT there to be classes? Without social mobility, many people would still be peasants.

I don't know about anyone else, but that first post sounds really snobby and arrogant to me.
Everyone deserves equal rights and respect, regardless of their socioeconomic class.

If you knew who xxjaejoongsarangxx is, the superiority complex is totally normal of her.

And we're not in the medieval times when peasants had no right to converse with the upper class or nobles. If our society did have social classes, we might as well do away with the democratic system and replace it with totalitarianism or monarchy.

O_O;; That's like...so capitalist.
What if you weren't rich yourself(Topic starter) or elite.

That's like asking the same thing as well. What about the respect that the "low" non-elitists deserves?
Uhm..omg.

How is that annoying? If you were poor... is it assumed that you are suppose to wear scraps and have dirt on your face? Gosh. You.

Without social mobility, Koreans would be at the bottom of the social caste in the United States, while whites would be on top. No doubt.

And there is still PLENTY of social stratification, especially in places such as the United States. Enjoy it.

Last I checked, education also defined whether or not you were in the "low."

If you dress nice, and your knowledge level is limited, you can kiss "elite" goodbye, and say hello to wannabe.

I just wanted to point out that there are monarchic states with democracy. Take a look at the United Kingdom, for instance. Maybe you meant absolutism/absolute monarchy? But I do agree with what you´re saying.

To the OP... I honestly hope you´re just joking with this topic. It sounds quite elitist and immature.

Your the same person who started a thread complaining about being treated badly and should earn respect because you wear brand names. No surprise here.
