Well... what are you looking for in a phone?
I know someone that works at Verizon that said all managers or something were allowed to use the Omnia for three weeks as a promotion. They all wanted their old phones back after three days of using it
However, I also have a friend that loves it so I think you'll have to go into the store and just test it out.
Sorry I'm not that helpful lol

storm, but you would need to buy the blackberry plan.
i have the curve (from verizon, which i have to pay for the blackberry plan), and never could go back to a lg/samsung fone.

Omnia, storm is a phone full of crappy lag in the navigation of the system, and idk .. not a good phone overall (i've played with it lots, and have relatives with it).

The lag can be fixed by a firmware update

i was deciding between these two phones too.
i think the omnia is way more complicated as a phone,
and its not very known.
i went with the stormm, and im not regretting anything.
you should try them out at a storee.

emm i think omnia is better..
storm is a good phone, but there aren't many features in it besides internet, i guess..
omnia has a lot of great features like GPS, the latest Internet, and many more..
eventhough it's a litlle bit more expensive than storm (i think), it's worth it because all of the features is in one phone..
hehe

Omnia. I hate the storm. I played with it at the verizon store and omg it lags like no other. Apprenately there is a firmware update but that phone has so many problems. If you go to any websites like phonedog then you can watch the reviews for both. Most reviewers say that the Omnia beats the storm by a mile, because it meets up to the expectations of a smart phone. They both have all the smart phone functions like windows mobile 6.2 and gps and a great browser, etc.
Since verizon allows you to switch phones within a month without asking questions you should try out one and if you don't like it go with the other.

I don't have experience with the omnia,
but I do have the storm & I tell you I LOVE THE STORM.
I got it for Christmas & I have trouble putting it down.
I'm not gonna lie though it does lag & it has froze once or twice.
But once you take out the battery for a while & put it back in the malfunctions are gone.
The storm is really easy to figure out too.
I thought it would be hard but after a few minutes it got easy I barely touch
the manual because everything is pretty simple.
but loads of good features (=
Hope I helped!

storm. The bugs will be fixed, guaranteed. Blackberry's reputation is at stake right now they are being drilled with bad press. This phone will work and the latest updates do a pretty good job (but I agree it's not perfect). Windows Mobile is not for novice users, if you don't know how to tweak it then it's a very poor piece of software
