If u define it as making jokes n play around n stuff...then of course ur immature...
But some ppl might define it differently...for example Immature = ppl not listening to other's opinions/advice (basically being stubborn), not reflecting on their own actions, etc... I think this is way more immature then playing around n stuff...
Girls that r open, outgoing r usually more optimistic...and thats a plus...
It also makes a really cute personality, pleasant to be with...
However, sometimes u just gotta hold back a little... ^^

It's how you react and deal with various situations.
You're going to have to give more details, otherwise we have no clue what you are like.
In fact, we don't know anything about you cause people have varying levels of "outgoing" and definitions of both immature AND outgoing.
If a girl whined about every little thing like "why can't you hold the door for me" or "why do I have to pay some of the bill," that is going to turn me off. Expecting others to do things, and when you don't get it, throw a tantrum doesn't work. It's disgusting.
Some guys enjoy spoiled girls, but I'm not into that.

agreed muchly (Y).
I prefer outgoing girls, but quiet is good as well. I don't mind.
There's the inconsiderate arrogant stubborn and immature girl... as well the over-analyzing serious and mature girl both is not a very good turn on.
A bit of both is nice, but not too much of it?
I guess there's a boundary of how much people can take.

Immaturity... is a very broad term. I agree that you need to specify what it is you think makes you immature.

And if they say they love who you are and tease you about being immature, they just like who you are. No need to be offended by it

man of virtue
Hmm.. I'm fine with outgoing girls as long as they're not TOO outgoing and being annoying. But like others said, outgoingness doesn't necessarily relate directly to maturity. Immature girls are just.. no, since what I find immature is unpleasant

I was thinking that too as I was reading the post. Being outgoing doesn't make you immature. If you throw a tantrum when you don't get your way; that's something i'd consider immature. Just because you're not serious 24/7 I wouldn't go as far as to say you're immature. From what it sounds like ... you're just goofy.
But yeah, I would see guys seeing immaturity as a turn off. Someone that is child like and doesn't know how to handle themselves raises quite a few flags.

How so?
I'd probably know what type of person she is before it came to that, since personality traits always raise red flags about someone. I'd be sure not to take things too serious, in the event that the chemistry between her, my family, and I didn't mix.

I dunno, just throwing it out there because I think immaturity in general is a turn off - girl or guy. If you're immature, there are usually no boundaries for you and immature people usually don't know when they've crossed the line. If you're mature, you do have that silly/childish side to you, but you know when and when not to express that side. There is also the age factor. I wouldn't mind dating someone immature in middle or high school, but now that I'm in university, I wouldn't be able to.
With the immature people that I know, I can only seem to talk to them on a superficial level and not too often because I'd get irritated by their immature and sometimes senseless remarks. If I can only stand talking to a person in little doses, then I sure as hell cannot date them.

yea I agree as well. Just because you're outgoing doesn't mean you're immature.
But anyways, If the girl IS Immature= Biggest turn off (for me)
