I'm at the stage where I'm getting desperate about my weight loss. I've been steadily eating healthier and exercising much more regularly but i still can't seem to drop any weight. In my monthly issue of Shape I came across an ad in the back for Hydroxycut, and now I'm wondering - 1. does it work? 2. all diet pills are gonna be bad for you in the end i'm sure, but just how bad? and 3. is there an alternative besides pills to jumpstart my weight loss?
I've been afraid to get on the scale lately. >:
but last time I checked, I weighed 135 and I'm 5'4" and a tenth.. x___x;;
although, since I'm a dancer, a lot of that is muscle. I know I'm definitely slimmer than others my weight and height.

There's been other threads on Hydroxycut here before this one is probably the most helpful
Hmm as for me I'm staying away from diet pills. Relying on them too much made me think I could just slack off from my regime and get away with pigging out and lack of exercise. All diet pills down the drain for me!
Oh yeah Hydroxycut works best with exercise. Since you're a dancer if you're going to take them, you should do it right before your routine

wow, it seems scary..
I think I'd rather not risk heart and liver / kidney problems. (: thanks a lot for showing me! and shame on me for not utilizing search. haha. ;;
probably good old exercise will have to do for now. don't wanna complicate things further and increase the doctor's bill.
edit: it seems to work for some people though? |: haha maybe i'll try it for like what. two weeks.

The main thing that is "bad" about hydroxycut is the amount of caffeine in them.
The typical symptons like tightness in the chest and racing heart beat are all indications
of caffeine sensitivity. Besides that, there really isn't much to worry about.
You just have to make sure you're drinking tons of water everyday, like more
than 8 glasses a day. You should aim for at least half a gallon or more.
It does work well with a good exercise regimen if you follow the instructions properly.
You're supposed to start off slow with like the 1 pill or whatever then gradually
increase as your body becomes tolerant. You don't necessarily need pills to lose weight.
It just "helps". All you need is a good diet and hard exercise. With or without these pills,
that is what is going to work in the end.

My brother used Hydroxycut a couple of years ago. It was scary because he told me that it was like his heart was beating at a thousands beats per minute. The results were pretty good nonetheless.
Just remember to be healthy about the whole weight loss thing :]

its like steroid pills just makes u wrk twice as hard...u can also use it for a diet pill eat it before meals..
it also matters on how hard u push urself i used it for like 2 months, i had no problem with it..and with the hydroxycut i dont recommend u starve or eat less then u usually do because u dont want hydroxycut using up all ur bodies nutrients so u want to have a good supply of nutrients before u start using it, and what makaveli said u NEED TO DRINK ALOT OF WATERRRR
