We all go through the awkward, shy stages of crushing on someone, but do those feelings get stronger or weaker as you start to like your crush more and more? I'm so curious. LOL.

Reason being, I recently found out that a girl I knew has a huge crush on me, which was puzzling because I always sensed immense awkwardness between the two of us. Talking to some of our friends, I sensed that the more she liked me, the more awkward she felt around me. I, for one, always feel a bit awkward around crushes, but then I begin to feel comfortable as my feelings get stronger. Maybe it's because I'm a guy and it's different for girls, or maybe (most likely) it just depends on the person.

But I'd like to hear some peoples' thoughts on this!

pretty much one of the reasons I'm having trouble with this particular girl, I really want to like her and at times I think I do, but I'm worried that the awkwardness will never go away. and if so, then what's the point, you know?

I feel totally comfortable when I'm with my crush alone, but soo awkward when I'm with my crush with other people.

It depends on the crush. But when talking to them I try to keep it cool and it works.
I still get butterflies, dont get me wrong.
But the boy I like now, WOW. So complicated.
I feel kind of nervous, but not. More frustrated.
But when he hugged me this one time I FROZE. I got red in the face, I could totally feel it.
I got all spazy in my belly. And when it was over it just pulled away from him real fast.
Geeeeez!!

Im pretty clam and collected. You just never know what the other person will do. haha


The awkwardness will go away. You are always shy/awkward/nervous in front of a new person you like.
And if not then you are probably past crush to the friendship stage, and you missed your chance.

its comfortable because we'd laugh and joke around, but whenever its my turn to talk, it feels like my lungs are about to fall out of my mouth, but it actually turns out to be stutters and a red-flushed face. Luckily he was a very outgoing smarty type of guy, cause i can't stand being awkward around crushes.

For me, if I am comfortable around a person, then it will remain so. I'm only uncomfortable when something awkward happens, or when I don't know the person well enough.
