Motivation ! did you achieve your goal by the end of 2008?

write down your weight loss experiences here :]
before and after pictures would be nice
and tell us what you did to lose and maintain your weight.

Beginning of 2008 I was 135 pounds.

End of 2008 I was/am 123 pounds.

I don't really have any pictures, and honestly I don't know what advice to offer. I just ate a liiiiiiittle less and walked a liiiiiiittle more near the end of last school year, and... boom!

Haha yeah, seriously.

Honestly, I think that a lot of it also has to do with your mental health. I was a complete wreck in mid-late 2007 and I think that definitely contributed to my weight gain, but when I started taking better care of myself in general in 08, a lot of things just cleaned up. It was nice :]

i wasn't fat but i was quite chubby.: P

but iono i don't remember what motivated me. haha.
i think it was this soompi health & fitness forum all together.
with all the information i was reading, i was curious how accurate it was so i tried it? haha.
i did a lot of turbo jam LOL no lie. i started my journey to lose weight last june?: P
i was around 135lbs - 140lbs?
and now i'm 128lbs. i think i would've lost a lot more but, i decided to just exercise lots but still eat my typical sweets in my diet... LOL i kinda regret it .....still i lost some pounds while still enjoying my favourites.: P

but today this lady who was visiting me commented on my weight loss and said i lost "a lot" of weight.o_o; so if i really did lose a lot, i guess some of my weight comes from muscle mass.: )

this year i'm definitely aiming for 115lbs, or at least 120lbs.<3

EDIT:
oh if you're wondering what kind of exercising i did...
uhmm, as mentioned turbo jam (it helped heap loads with my belly fat!^^) + turbo sculpt which is their strength workout.: )
if u lurk around this forum, they have ock ju hyun's yoga video posted, which i used as well. but i don't use it as often as i used turbo jam.
i've bought a yoga book too....tho i must say, i like watching videos more LOL.
i take hiphop dance classes as well (and i love dancing now.<3)
and actually........
join clubs/programs/activities whether it be socializing, or maybe gyms (i didn't do this haha) because if you're out...you're bound to be on your feet. waaaaaalk walk waaaaaaaaalk at least if you don't do workouts. but i joined a youth program this past summer. and we went HIKING which kiiiiiiilled my energy. it was such a crazy time, walking for like 20km-30km with 25lbs on your back. but in the end, i benefited from it.: )

and i don't have pics sorry.=X my before pics were never of my body anyways and even now haha
