Downloading Music Free anyone know a website?

hey i was just wondering where people get their music from.
do anyone have any place where downloading is free that they recommend?

If you use livejournal there are some pretty awesome communities for downloading and requesting all types of music. I get almost everything there.

uhm i use limewire
it's a music sharing program but you have to dl it onto your computer
