Straight back. Less bends for better flow.

sometimes an angle actually has less bends. some race cars and aftermarket companies made exhausts as straight as possible which resulted in the exhaust coming out at an angle, that's how the "style" began. now some ricer's get exhaust that have an extra bend to get the exhaust to come out at an angle....

I prefer the looks of a straight exhaust in the back. If the car requires an angle at the back for less restrictive airflow, then I'd opt for an angled one, depending on the car.

I prefer a dual exhaust thats straight to the back although exhaust to the side seems some what cool but requires it to spew flames for it to be really cool lol.

Dual exhaust as it sorts of balances out the back as one exhaust just seems odd to me lol.

well seeing from your post you're saying how you want it to look? just go with how the hangers are positioned already. what kind of car do you have anyways?

As far as looks go, I like it straight. Maybe a slight angle upwards. I like my exmag, straight and stockish.

All of them can be nice, more or less depends on what you're talking about. Side exhausts are nice on trucks, as is straight back. Straight back is also sweet on muscle cars, with dual tips (maybe even quad tips if it's not over the top). Can go on and on forever, just helps to know what car is in question IMO.

i was just wondering what people liked.

i'm getting a GC8 98 or above in about 4 months [wishing i could get the 22B 99 instead] and going with an apexi N1 ExTi exhaust + taking off the spoiler cause i don't like it.

i prefer at the back on an angle just for this model only.

in other cases like example a LEXUS IS200 with a kit , i prefer straight out back

I would want straight back. but if you prefer JDM style or so i think, you can go with a straight back that angle way up. Saw one of my japanese friends have it. Up to your style.
