Camera froze while I was using it, with the lens in the extended posistion. I tried removing the battery, but it didn't help; the lens just remained in its extended position. When I re-inserted the battery, and switched it on it just beeped, and then switched itself off again. From looking through Samsung site, it appears to be a malfunctioning problem. I contacted Samsung and it will cost $90.19 for this model to be service. I have this camera for more than a year now and so therefore the warranty is not valid anymore.

I don't want to spend 90.19 dollars + tax to fix this problem.

Anybody have this problem before? Is it worth it to have it service for that price?

I will never buy from Samsung again.
