Well any computer nerd will undoubtedly heard of the infamous Soundblaster X-Fi soundcard series which dominated the market when it comes to sound processing peripherals for PC. Now yu can get this quality in yur pocket as creative has created the world first MP3 player that uses the X-Fi technology

For those that dont know what X-Fi technology does heres a good example

Experience the sound of perfection wherever you go.

Stay in touch on the go
Stay connected with friends on Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger as you can now chat on the go

Premium quality in-ear earphones
The bundled EP-830 in-ear earphones offers excellent noise isolation capability to deliver the ultimate acoustic experience with crystal clear audio reproduction

Till this day, I still prefer my original Xen over even the latest ipods/itouch. Its not mentioned here, but this thing will most likely support divx and xvid natively as well. Of course you have to use it for yourself to draw a final verdict, but I'll definitely be one of the early adopters of this thing.

^ oh ok. Thanks for the clarification. Regardless, its only for wifi. I wouldn't say its a reliable "on the go" communication device. You'd have to be in a wifi hotspot or at home. I would still much rather use a phone (which practically everyone has) which I can use anywhere. Since its only for wifi, I find it a useless feature. Sorry for the confusion, I was thinking more on the lines of a mobile device which can be used for chat anywhere (like a phone).

I just got mine few days ago!!!!!

The audio is really great and clear when you use the headphone.
Just at volume 10->12 the sound is SUPER LOUD and the max volume is 25!

BUT THEN
I was kinda dissapointed with the speaker though
It was alright if your surrounding isn't very noisy but the sound wasn't even at volume 25

BUT aside from that, its really awesome.

I bought the 8 GB version so no wi-fi sad.gif but I don't really care Hehe

I have a creative vision M for probably 3-4 years and it's working great. It's 30GB, and plays all the avi files I downloaded. (think: Gossip girl, smallville, supernatural, etc - 350MB files).

Right now I'm trying to upgrade to a higher capacity player, and seems like Apple has totally wiped out all their competition. I'm interested in Apple's 120GB player, but I'm not interested in itunes, and neither am I interested in the fact that the songs in the player cannot be extracted out or saved, unless I save it as data under their hard disk.

Any suggestions?
