I'm trying to pick between an abs and back class and an aquafitness class. If you have tried this, please tell me about ur experiences and how u looked afterwards.
NOTE: I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT SWIMMING. its like a class that does aerobics/movement in the water.

Hey I haven't done it but I believe it has to do with resistance training if I'm not mistaken. Since it's harder to do simple things such as raise your arms in water, than it is out of water, I think that's resistance training for you. It looks like fun nevertheless

Aquafitness in general is by far the best workout you can get. It's intensive aerobic, provides a great workout for your muscles, and many find it more interesting than the standard run / lift weights routine (myself included). Swimming and working out in the water requires you to use and control almost all of your muscle systems, and the pressure from the water requires your lungs to work harder than with just running, leading to an amazing workout.
I find it more interesting than the standard run / lift deal, and the workout is excellent. Be aware, your appetite may go way up... I consume a solid 500-1000 more calories on days I swim o.O

hahaha ive never taken any of those classes before, but i lifeguard sometimes during water aerobics classes at my work place. basically you do seemingly easy exercises in the water, but the water provides great resistance. mainly really old woman take the class though x[ and today i saw a pregnant lady. i guess its not an intense intense work out, but it's fun. but then again, maybe the aquafitness class you plan to take is completely different..
