Ipod Won't Unlock

Hey guys

I have the first generation ipod nano, the black one.
one day i had it on lock then when i unhooked it from the usb and unlocked it, it still wouldn't unlock. i switched the switch over to unlock but on the screen display the locked sign still shows and I can't use my ipod anymore. sad.gif...any help? Thank you.

have you tried restarting it by pressing and holding the middle button and the "menu" button at the same time?

i went onto the apple site for help but didn't do much
i restored it too. back to factory setting but it's still locked.

If you tried everything and nothing helps, then the only thing you can really do is go to the genius bar :I Hope they can fix it for you sad.gif
