Hey everyone! A few months ago, something happened to my sister's Dell desktop computer where it would automatically go to a bluescreen every time we turned it on. No welcome screen, no account icons, nothing except the blue screen. So we just left it alone and didn't turn it on since we have laptops and school just kept us busy and we never had time to figure it out. And we never knew where the XP cd was until just recently when we cleaned the room.
So I decided to try and fix the computer before the new semester starts. I've done a repair install on the computer and now I can get to the login screen with all accounts and icons intact. Unfortunately, when I try to login, it says that it's loading all personal settings and I see the wallpaper, but that's all I see before it says that it's saving all settings and logs off. I can't get past it and I've tried to login through Safe Mode. Nothing at all.
I did some Google searches trying to figure this out, and I read that it's probably something to do with a corrupted registry. Problem is, I don't know how to fix the registry when I can't do anything to the computer.
If anyone had a similar problem, or knows how to fix this, any help will be appreciated. Thanks for your time!

Have you tried to log in using a different account, ex: Default admin account?

Yes, I've tried the admin account and the same thing happens. All the accounts have the same result. =(

Yes, it's legitimate. I'm pretty sure it is since the cd came with the computer when Dell sent it to us.
