No problem.

It's arguably one of the most unforgettable and captivating Taiwanese series. The lead's chemistry is undeniable. Ming Dao's talent and versatility emanated throughout the show. The OST is quite appealing and suitable to the pace and themes cultivated in the show.

Could have been condensed further to make it more enjoyable, but regardless this drama will certainly keep you hooked from beginning to end.

Shan Jun Hao, the CEO to a large hotel chain, is the stereotypical heir spoiled, coldhearted, and ruthless. He meets Ye Tian Yu, a schemer and somewhat of a gold-digger and after a series of events, Tian Yu accidentally runs Jun Hao over. Turns out, Jun Hao has lost all of his memories and became a kindhearted and loving person. Just when love is in the air, Jun Haos family came looking for him and he has a fiance who loves and misses him. Some more accidents occurred, and Jun Hao lost all of his memories of Tian Yu and went back to being a spoiled heir. However, Tian Yu fights for their love even though Jun Hao thinks of her as a lying schemer. Will Jun Hao remember his love for Tian Yu? Who will Jun Hao choose? And who is the person causing all the accidents?

Prince Turns To Frog was awesome; go watch it.

I'd recommend Invincible Shan Bao Mei (aka Woody Sambo) since the lead girl isn't girly and I would say, a tomboy.

there's this Rainie Yang's drama...

"Miss No Good" if im not wrong..she isn't too girly..but nor is she a tomboy.

she's just...weird.Not a type of girl u can see on this planet.

well i would have suggested hana kimi and coffee prince.

Korean
9 Ends 2 Out - how about one that likes baseball? I wouldn't call her a tomboy exactly...
The Legend - well one of the female's a tomboy, but she's not the main character.
Iljimae - one of the female's a tomboy. Again she's not the main character

Japanese:
Unfair - not a romance, but the main character is a tough cop. This is one of my favs.
Koshonin - is another female cop drama.
Haken no Hinkaku - Office lady one. it's a comedy. Not a tomboy but she's not very girly
Hotaru no Hikari - the female is a bit... weird. haha cute storyline though
A Million Stars fall from the sky/Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi - Slightly older. The lead character is tomboy. The plot's a bit disturbing

You could try Ueto Aya dramas... like "Attention please" (tomboy stewardess) or "Attack No. 1" (sports drama)

Taiwan:
王子看見二公主/Prince Princess 2 - the new show seems promising

Lol it's because many of those dramas listed are meant for entertainment without too much "substance", therefore they exaggerate and make the characters stupid/naiive/inexperienced. There's a taiwanese drama called Silence...it's quite different, I think you'd enjoy it. Oh, and also Meteor Garden...the mother of all taiwanese dramas lol. She's not really a "tomboy" though she has some qualities, she's just very independent and righteous/fierce.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, it's very helpful. happy.gif

I watched the first episode of Koshonin, Silence, and Bump Off Lovers.

Good so far. happy.gif

Yeah, some the ones I listed are like that.. But, at are at least not intolerably girly. Ones like for Ruler of your Own World, Flowers For My Life, Atsu-Hime, Glass Slippers, Gokusen, Powerful Opponents, etc. are really good.

But, I can't get into dramas like ISWAK, Romantic Princess, Smiling Pasta, and Full House.

I haven't seen a lot, but I like Trick.

The main girl wears skirts all the time, but you'll see she's not a girly girl. Nor is she a tomboy.

Hong Gil Dong sounds promising.

as long as you're open-minded, you're gonna like it. by that, i mean being flexible in accepting that writers may completely change their minds halfway through the series. like "let's turn a comedy genre into something else" mindframe. lol.

also, a little spoiler don't let the first episode convince you of what might be the outcome. that's all i can say about the series. other than that, Kang JiHwan's acting is the show's jewel.

as for some other dramas with a tomboy-ish female character:

Kdrama

Bad Family - thoroughly enjoyed this series. good acting and plot story. you'll laugh and cry. Nam SangMi's (hopefully spelt it correctly) character is not girly at all. but when the "girly" side comes out, it's funny!

Great Inheritance - one of the few kdramas i've seen. i dont consider the female lead character as tomboy but she's not girly as well. it's gangster-turned-kindergarten teacher. lol.

Jdorama
i'm not sure what genre you're looking for; but if you want substance dramas without a girly girl female lead, i'll say:

Long Love Letter - one of the best doramas i've seen. just an amazing cast, hands down.
Hero - well, KimuTaku's assistant prosecutor isn't really girly nor a tomboy. but i like her character, can get a bit annoying when she opposes KimuTaku. again, another good casting in a dorama.
Regatta - i dont think it's a well-received drama but i like it. maybe cause i just like both Aibu Saki and Mokomichi, and Matsuda Shota as well. anyway, Aibu's character here is a girl bordering tomboy/athletic. she's the manager of the rowing club. and that's what the dorama's all about.

I think this definitely fits the bill- Coffee Prince.

The female lead is an ultimate tomboy.

well there's jang nara's "Successful Story of Bright Girl or Bright Girl's Success" which i happen to love, i dont see it on your list so give this one a try.

and do try see "Nodame Cantabile" the girl character is hard to describe, not too girly, just weird and dirty

EDITED - hope you backtrack;;

what about Akihabara@deep - there's tomboy in it plus a tomboy/nerdy girl. not a love story tho.

Thanks! I've seen Successful Story of a Bright Girl.

It was actually my first Korean drama.

I've never seen Nodame Cantabile though. ^____^

*Nod* okay. I'll keep that in mind. I usually let the first episode determine the series.

Wow, Long Love Letter, Regatta, Great Inheritance, and Bad Family I've never even heard of!!!

THANKS!

Yeah, I've seen that one. She really is.

Oh! I've heard of that one. Where the girl is 30 something and has the mind of a 20 year old? xD
