okay, I have no idea what the movie is called, but i swear i've seen the commercials for it on tv. it's about a man and a woman who moved into a new house with their little son. however the house is completely haunted and the little boy sees the monsters and whatnot. i believe this may be the movie where it's got monsters trying to come out from the walls and where the little boy covers his face when the mom asks him what it is he sees. there's also a part where they showed a girl "monster" crawling and twitching her way towards whatever on the ground like they do in the japanese horror movies. becasue i was tryiing hard to see if there was a japanese producer/directer involved, I didnt catch the title of the movie. i really wanna see the movie so if someone could help with the title I'd really appreciate it. Anyhow, the movie was pretty recent. no more than 3-4 years.

Um, sounds like the girl from "The Ring"? If she had very long black hair and had a white gown/dress on, it's "The Ring".

You mentioned a husband, wife and little boy? I think that is her son.

Oh yeh the OP said "man" and "woman". But I think Naomi had a male friend in The Ring 2?


I checked the story description on Wiki:
Naomi(Rachel) works at a newspaper company for Max Rourke played by Simon Baker.<--the male friend character.
Aidan is the name of her son. Naomi's (Rachel) son only and not related to Max.

"Max goes to Rachel's house to check on her, only to find Aidan watching TV alone. When Rachel returns home, she finds Max's car parked outside and his dead body inside with the same warped expression of Samara's other victims."

In the movie, I remembered that Max was seen in the house quite a number of times so it may have looked like husband and wife, but now after reading the plot again it wasn't the case.

The part where Aidan(son) takes a bath was in Max's house.

i'm pretty positive it's not the movie: the ring. I've seen that movie already.

amityville horror? i looked it up and the story didnt match. it had three kids and the one i saw hoad only 1, a small little boy, toddler aged, maybe a bit older.

Yes, it sounds like the Messengers. By the Pang brothers, who also did they Eye. But this wasn't too good...I didn't like it though.

omo!!!! IT IS "THE MESSENGER" thanks a ton you guys especially Onesweetypie. really appreciate it. and yeah i gues it did have a daughter in it. i just checked the trailer out on youtube. i was too into watching the cute little boy trying to get freaked out by all the monsters that i got the mom and daughter characters mixed up as being the same. geez it's been some time watching the commercial and i probaly just started making stuff up.

But anyhow, I can now look forward to seeing it wherever i can hunt the movie down online. the trailer still creeps me out even now. as for GLORIFICUS, aw, that kinda puts me down, hopefully it's just a matter of movie taste then? but i dunno, i'm a pretty movie effect freak that i get sidelined from the actual story.
