sunmi got a haircut! i've always liked her with a fringe, i think out of the members she wears it the best.

i'd like to see sohee get some bangs, though, she's the only that hasn't yet?

i really loved yeeun with her current hair color. she sticks out, although sometimes it does look similar to sunmi's.

and as for yoobin, i want her bangs back. i don't mind if she leaves her hair short, cause i loved it the beginning of the so hot days.

sunye, she should either leave it longer or cut it, because i'm not sure i like this current one too much, it's like the hairstylists aren't too sure about how to style it or what to do with it; it's really plain, and doesn't really POP.

Concert Info


The Powerhouse and our Korean counterpart Good Concert (subsidiary of CJ) will be hosting a three city tour with artists Park Jin Young (JYP) and the Wonder Girls. Guest performers will be determined later on. In December, JYP will be commencing his tour in Korea and crossing over to the U.S. to continue his tour in America. As a producer, JYP felt it necessary to bring over with him the Wonder Girls, which are a sensation not only in Korea, but in the Asian American community as well. This visit will be JYP�s second tour in the U.S., where his first tour featured several of his artists, including the Wonder Girls.
In addition to the concerts in the two of the largest cities, Los Angeles and New York, the hosts decided to include La Mirada to accommodate the large Asian American population that resides in Orange County. Residents of Orange County will be able to take advantage of the concert located at the theater nearby. Powerhouse and Good Concert wanted to give fans the opportunity to get as much exposure of JYP and the Wonder Girls.
Starting from their debut, the Wonder Girls have grasped the Korean pop industry and has made many hit songs with catchy tunes, which people of all ages sing along to. The choreography has become a trademark and is also widely imitated and performed by fans on a regular basis. Along with the Wonder Girls, JYP has composed many number one hit songs as well as choreographed many dance moves that has become a rage in Korea. With his elaborate sense of fashion, he has also stirred the audience with memorable stage costumes.

i think sunmi is the most beautiful without a straight fringe. i despiiise it on her. i was so glad that they got rid of it for promoting "nobody" but the ghastly fringe has reappeared. i mean she looks pretty with her hair in those new pictures but overall i think it doesn't enhance her features very well and sometimes makes her nose look bigger when she smiles. oh well sunmi will rock the do this year so no worries for me.
aaaanyway enough about the hair, i'm glad that the thread name has finally been decided. been kinda slow here but i drop by everyday.

But you've got to understand... its korea.

I'm korean and I know that in korea.... it's considered beauty to look 'cute' and 'young.'

That's why i korea all the girls go fro the cute look instead of mature look. The older they become, they try to go for the cute look.

That's why they like the 'fringe.'

Where as us international fans, exposed to a more.. americanized(?) culture, LOVE the maturity look rather than the cute look.


I loved sunmi with the side bangs, not hte fringe. The side bangs looked so gorgeous on her, I just dislike the fringe...

it's just ... its a hackneyed concept!

oh gosh it will be hard to make her hair wavy
now because her hair have so many layers and length!
