omg...... i was in that "small group that didn't get in."

i was SO UPSET. i had been waiting around the mtv studios around 1:35 too!!! like, literally. and then around 3:00 - 3:30 , that's when someone finally came over to me and some other girls and said to get on the line , that we'd be able to get in.. and then they didn't let us through. We actually did a head count and there were 16 of us "left behind" and we kept saying "there's only 16 of us.. they'll let us in, right?" and then they finally got us moving so we got excited.. but they just scooted us over in front of the studio where we could see the screen (which is where we had been standing in the first place before they told us to get on the line...)
UGH i waited for two hours+ of my life for nothing..
and other people got the greatest experience of their lives.
i'm sort of really jealous
i even gave up my studying time.. i have an exam tomorrow morning..... oaifjowekls
Hey, I remember you! You go to NYU, right? I was the girl with the turquoise jacket.
my friend got to watch the performances via the Times Square screen, I'll ask her for permission to post her cams etc =]
lol I see you mentioning me there, Jenny. At least, I think it's me.
Long post; may burn your eyes xD :My fan account of the Wonder Girls' MTV performance isn't very exciting since I didn't get to enter the studio. I got to Times Square around 12:50PM, waited till 1PM, and didn't see the Wonder Girls performing on the HD screen. I started talking to this girl who was also waiting to see the performance. We both stood outside the studio and chatted till about 3:15, when
2PM FINALLY showed up on the screen; they performed "10 Out of 10." After that, this JYP Entertainment employee told us we couldn't stand in front of the studio since a commercial was being filmed there, and that we should go around the corner of the building, where other fans were waiting to get in. He said that we might be able to get in if there was enough room in the studio, so I got excited and did what he said. Katherine (whose post I quoted) ended up behind us and we talked a little.
Eventually, we were told to go in the pit, which is what the part of the road that's marked off by white pole things, so that the Wonder Girls would see fans showing their love when they looked out the window. The Wonder Girls took the stage and sang "Nobody," "So Hot," and "Tell Me." For some reason they sang each song twice. Then they disappeared from the screen and an MYV Iggy ad came up, and I was getting really old waiting around, so I walked over to the MTV store and Billabong to warm up. When I went back to the pit, I could see the Wonder Girls through the window! (There were these dark, semi-transparent plastic things covering all the windows before.) So I started taking pictures, hoping that they'd turn around. They did so a few minutes later, and waved at all of us. I think they were being interviewed, I'm not sure, but they weren't performing at that point. I caught a few glimpses of JYP, too, since he had come with them.
Then they walked off somewhere and I couldn't see them in the window anymore, so I went back around the corner of the building and found a bunch of Wonder Girls and
2PM fans waiting in the space in front of some theater where The Lion King musical was showing. Some of them had attended the JYP concert on Sunday night, and one of the girls said not to scream when
2PM came out the door (a back entrance to the studio), because they all got scared and ran away from girls who screamed at them after the concert. I got out a notepad and a pen so I could get an autograph when the boys came out. JYP came out first, probably around 4-something, and gave out autographs to a bunch of people. I was kinda in shock that the Asiansoul was in front of me. @_@ Finally, at 5-something, that same girl said, "It's
2PM" (she could see them through the little window in the door). I was like "O_O" and got my camera ready, but it was low on batteries from taking so many photos and videos of the Wonder Girls that it died a few seconds after the door opened. All the boys looked great! They didn't have time to sign autographs and had to get straight into their van.
We knew that the Wonder Girls would have to exit the same way that
2PM did, so we waited some more. They came out around 6:30, and like 2PM, they didn't have time for autographs. But Sunye was really sweet and signed autographs for a few people anyway, and asked for the girls' names so she could personalize them. I think she's my favorite member now. (: All of the girls looked gorgeous in person~ And then they all got into their van, so we waved at them and said, "Bye!" though their tinted windows, and then they drove away.
Sorry that was so long; I never know how to be concise, haha. Thanks if you read all that. ^^;;
Now, pictures.
Not watermarked. You may share these, but just don't say that you took them. Thanks. On the big screen:
