So I downloaded an srt file online, however, I idiotically changed the program to something else which doesn't play the subtitles properly on the video.


^ That was how it looked like before I changed the property settings and where the file played properly.
However, this is what I changed it to gom player,



So my question is, does anyone know how I can get back to the first setting? I have no idea what file/program that is. Yes, I am an idiot for changing it. But if you could help me, I would reallly appreciate it.

Typically if the SRT has the same file name (except the extension) as the video file you are trying to play then the subs will be automatically loaded. SRT is after all just subtitles so there isn't really any particular program that you need to associate it with.

If you would like to change it's association then you can open up any folder do and do Tools > Folder Options > File Types (tab). Select your extension and change the program that you want to associate with it.
