How Is Frozen Yogurt Different From Ice Cream?

sorry if this is really a dumbass question but how is frozen yogurt different from ice cream? i've tried both obviously but i still dunno the difference.

Ice cream is filled with fat.. and yogurt is the more healthier alternative.

i love both.
i never knew the difference.. just called it another type of ice cream, like a less fat one lol

I do believe that frozen yogurt is a little bit healthier than ice cream.

i prefer frogurt than icecream. i think frozen yogurt tastes more icey and icecream tastes more creamy.

Frozen yogurt has a tarty taste to it opposed to ice cream, which is sweeter.
I'm sorry, but your tasting buds are pretty damn weird if you can't taste the differences between frozen yogurt and ice cream, haha...

ah but theres a difference between american froyo and the korean froyo (red mango or pinkberry for example) american version tastes just like a less-sweeter ice cream. you can barely taste the tartness of yogurt while obviously the korean one is very tart and much lighter

frozen yogurt is made out of yogurt while ice cream is made up of a lot of unhealthy stuff.
plus, frozen yogurt melts faster.

the only difference i can tell is frozen yogurt tastes like crap. it may be lesser in fat but it is disgustingly sweet. i mean it makes me wanna barf. i think the froyo makers are trying to make up for the lack of creaminess by adding sugar. YUCK!!!

wow I've never had "disgustingly sweet" froyo in my life o_O
Froyo is healthier and the texture is much different from ice cream.
