(Nuclear) weapons/wars.
Inventions they make as a resort from anger and hatred.
Useless things they spend money on when they can use that money for something much more worth it.

War is not an invention. War is an upscale version of violence which is human nature. But weapons on the other hand are the worst inventions. They may save lives but more often they take lives.

Some people have no place in the current world...so weapons come in handy. You realize that without weapons, the country you live in would not have existed? War and conflict has forged almost every country in the modern world...and without weapons, those wars could not have existed. Suppose weapons are impossible to make, then all things are impossible to make because anything can be used as a weapon...we will still use our bodies as weapons regardless. People are chaotic...people like power. When man figured out power is hard to mantain through their bare fists, they went to simple weapons...this lead all the way to the nuclear bomb. Weapons are simply utensils we created...like the keyboard I'm using right now to type this out.

Weapons aren't the world's worst invention, we are. Whether you believe we are intelligently created or arose from single-celled organisms...regardless, we are invented either by chance, nature, or by God(s).
