I have a problem with a site, every time i try to access that site, it says
"Network Time Out" "The server is taking too long to respond"
I can't access this site with ANY OTHER computers in my house.
My friend who visits this site says that she has no problem visiting it, I guess its just only me that can't get into it

Does anyone know what the problem is?
Anyone know how to fix the problem?

Thank You

Sometimes changing your DNS settings can help with certain sites if that's really the issue. You would go to your Network Connections under control panel, right-click on Properties for your Local Area Connection, then go to Properties for Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Click on "Use the following DNS server addresses". For your Preferred DNS server enter 208.67.222.222 and for your Alternate DNS server use 208.67.220.220. These are two of the server addresses for OpenDNS which may be more reliable/faster than your current ISP's DNS servers.

Just FYI, "DNS servers" are like the phonebooks of the internet. For example, it allows you to type in www.google.com instead of 208.67.219.231 when you want to search for something!

If you notice that websites seem to load a little faster and/or that site works now, then keep that setting the way it is. If u notice any problems, you can just set your DNS setting back to auto.
