Call Me Dance

This article was in Korean but using the this translating program on my laptop, I could just about make out what the news is about...

New male singer Taegoon [23] shows his interesting 'Call Me' dance. He had a debut stage on the 17th on MBC's Music Core singing his title music, 'Call Me' which had a strong melody and also favorable critism and people paid attention to him.

People call the Call Me dance, the 'ear' dance as he makes the hand motions near his ear.

Already afterwards, a user created content [UCC] is shown where Taegoon dances cutely to the 'Call Me' in the practice room which was opened to the public and instantly was a hit!

Meanwhile, the topic about Hero Jaejoong being in Taegoon's MV, 'Call Me' because of friendship is still being spoken about.

It's really interesting that he reminds me so much of Rain when he moves, and Se7en in the face. Anyway, here's hoping they go ahead and let him have a full album in the near future.

i agree! my friend told me bout how he's similiar to se7en and rain too. after seeing the call me mv, i think he' really awesome! i downloaded his album and i cant stop listening to call me! it's so addicting!
I hope he'll release a full album soon too!

I love that in the middle of Call Me, he did the intro dance and then went back to Call Me! I think the cameraman should've filmed upclose more though T_T

Thank you so much for this! I was wondering if he'd performed on M!Countdown today. This performance was pretty good - the dancing wasn't as sharp as the Inkigayo one but I think that had a lot to do with the set they used - I mean, it was a really pretty set but it seems a bit impractical. And on the bright side, at least we actually heard him singing this time, he sounded really out-of-breath (but again the set) but he didn't sound bad. I think he might be able to deliver a pretty decent vocal performance. The camera angles weren't great though - it was going all over the place. Still good performance!

Thanks so much for the pictures, the article and the gifs. The pre-performance pic is so cute! He has such an adorable smile. And it's nice that he seems to be getting recognition in Korea, especially for his dance which I think is really cool! Will be on the lookout for more info on him - there's still so little.

HIs perf today at mnet was pretty good. At least can hear him sings live the first part.
I guess he was confused between live and lyps cause the background music is too loud. they need to adjust it better next time.
His dancing was not as strong as Inki but he smiles alot and camera man caught all of that moment WHich i love the most. I fall for his smile already . hahah
one more thing i gotta mention. It's sort of like rain's reaction on stage; however it was cute . He scream "AHHHHHH" during solo dance .
hahah anyways if he keeps show up his own unique, he will be big hit oneday soon. now he still reminds me of Rain
ANyways I support tae goon. HAHHAAH I can't get his "phone dance " out of my head now.

Performance wise, it was pretty good, but I think it's the stage setting that made it less flattering. However vocally, he did a really good job trying to sing live from the start to end. WAY better than Music Core. I was impressed by him. I love how they put the Intro in the middle, and I also love his sweet smiles Good job TaeGoon!

I can hear his voice. It's so faint and it kind of breaks after each line so i guess that's why they have to add his recorded voice. The stage looks...bad btw. I was scared a bit when he climbed to the top and he started dancing and the platform moved a bit XD I really like the intro part, it's what caught me the most on his MV
