does anyone else have this problem? is there a shockless way to get rid of the charge? usually i just force myself to get up from work once in a while to discharge, but it's so torturous >< i always get scared when i have to force myself to touch the metal plate on the lightswitch haha even though it doesn't even really hurt... ><
AND has anyone used this to their advantage? like shuffle across the floor and shock your brother/sister/parents/unfortunate guest? no one around here does it; i might have to try it on my roommate tonight ^^;

I hate that. At my school we have a computer pod only for our year level. It's carpeted and it gets really... uh... static-y in there. There is always this one girl who goes around rubbing her shoes on the carpet and then shocks people. It's so annoying.![]()

Whenever I'm close to my cousin who wears a watch on either hand, I'll get minor shock if I'm in contact with her skin.
The thing is, if she wears it on the right wrist, I'll get a shock even on her left arm.
& vice versa.

I was petting my cat that other time and we shocked each other. -___-
I also hate it when my hair 'floats' due to the static. When that happens, I apply haircream in my hair.

In fact, I get it all the time when I brush my hair.
It's just during winter when I hear all of the pop, pop, pops.
