Man the inkigayo performance was AWESOME. The outfits were soo cool. Bekha's hair was straight OMG that totally made my day. GaHee was totally rocking her jacket and her pony tail (i loved how it spun around in the chorus parts). The camera man was the best, totally saw more SooYoung. The crowd were cheering too yeyeyeye~
Oh and not forgetting the LEG LIFT, it's back!
This definitely one of their best performance.
oh svisual, that post you did on the last page was amazing, i totally agree with you on every point. It makes me soo happy to see that these girls are targeting females and that females are actually responding to it. Also Gahee and Jung Ah are such strong women for being able to debut in an industry filled with pre teen idol groups, continue to fight for you dreams AS~

There were more news article which mention such statements and it's unfortunate that I didn't save them all. But what I know is that After School is definitely not targetting fans below the 20s age group. Rather they're targetting fans of their own age group. And the best part, they're not even intending to target male fans. They felt great that they have female fans. It's all about the girl/female/women power. After School is here to show everyone out there, women can make it big too.
I'm not trying to sound like a big time feminist but one of the reasons why I like After School is how they're confident about themselves. The strong image they portray, it gives me hope that "I can do it too".
The best part, After School brings new meaning to the statement "it's never too late to chase your dreams."
It's admirable how they've persisted through all these years and how they're not afraid to stand before everyone as rookies at this age. The way they're confident about their own sexuality, body and charisma, everything about them is laudable.
So for those who are not yet in their 20s and do not understand why the After School ladies are portraying such image, I would suggest you keep your comments to yourself because right now, you'll never understand what it feels like to be in your 20s and going through what the ladies are going through.
TOTALLY AGREE!
After School brings in that whole new feel into the music biz dominated by idol groups who's main target are teens. Being in my mid-20s, it is kind of hard to find someone to look up to who is older and definitely exudes that girl power factor (aside from Hyori). After School's image shows confidence, charisma, energy, and an underlying hint of sexuality. Which in my opinion is more than appropriate, given their ages. It would be kind of awkward if they push for teen adoration. Let's leave that to the present idol groups now.
And I love that statement! -- "it's never too late to chase your dreams." -- they may be rookies, but I have yet to see them act like one. Their confidence on stage is really admirable... they are professionals through and through...
The performances!
OMG!!!
Two performances! Red and Purple outfits FTW!~
*spazz*
I am soooo loving Bekha's hair!! and outfit!!! scratch that... I am so loving that girl!!! XDDDD
And I am biased with Ga Hee unnie, so excuse me while I let out the fangirl in me... KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Leather jackets... *drools*
And is it just me or is Jung Ah getting sexier everyday? O__o
And BAH! Music Bank just lost viewers.. LOL...

It's getting better and better...
When I saw the first performance (MuCore debut stage), I like the outfits already....but comparing to what they had after that, that MuCore purple outfits were the simplest....
Now I like Jung Ah as much as I like Ga Hee, my two fave members, the interview caps were gorgeous!!!
P.S. Whuaaa....Becka's hair in Inkigayo!! I like it, she looked good with her hair down..... Maybe if they make the hair wavy it would be better...

Big Bang | 2NE1 | Super Junior | So Nyeo Shi Dae | 1TYM | OneDay | SHINee | Shinhwa | After School | Son Dam Bi | and more...

Yeah, I think they should try that too.
Because after watching the Inki performance (like 10+ times
I mean, I LOVE the straight hair but... I guess I'm so used to the fluffy hair she had before, lol. The hair is missing some "oomph" that I'm used to. >_<
Well either way, I love her.
I seriously can't enough of these girls right now, they need to have a busier schedule!! I need MORE After School!!! Rawr!

I LOVE YOU, Lena! Thank you. The girls looking hella fine. The girls performed really well, like always. <3
I always love the chereography a la 'boxing' (as I consider it) during the rapping part 'After School in da house'. Both Gahee and Bekha seriously successful in emanating the girl power there. Bekha's headband is bringing back the hippies fashion with a classy touch. <3

I also can't believe Ga Hee did her leg lift, it is pure awesome and classy. Even though its not the school uniform that I was really hoping for, its okay, I still love their outfit. It screams kind of rock style.

I SWEAR that..I will change the world.."

Seriously, these girls are all 20-30 yrs old and they bare a bit of midriff and legs. barelyyyy seen ANY chest at all, and theyre considered too sexy.
Meanwhile S*** wear short skirts and bare midriffs and do highkicks in their choreo (for the ONE song, seriously), but they get away with being 'cute' (despite a major target audience is men in their 40-50s....paedophilic anyone??)
Im not bashing, just making a reference to a ridiculous 'exception' to this 'too sexy' rule...=/
I totally understand that maybe their choreo is a bit too much for the supposedly demure Korean audience,
but the reason theyre considered too sexy, is because the girls themselves are quite hot! LOL i know this sounds funny but really, replace the 5 After School members with your typical cute, small, pale, black straight hair with blunt fringe girls (leave the choreo and costumes as they are) and noone would really say anything...
AND if BB(i totally love them OK!!!),Rain(love him too),M(mm...yeah lol) etc can get away with ripping their shirts off while being showered with water, spraying chocolate sauce over girls, hitting girls booties and basically feeling them up on stage... why cant the girls stretch their legs in the air????
